| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? Technology. Technology. And technology.
It is simply amazing how much technology Toyota was able to fit into this car. I can imagine all cars 20 years from now having this much advanced technology packed into a car. This Prius is a good representation of the future to come. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Not much.
Maybe the fuel cell version that Toyota is working on. If they can figure out a good way to put in the fuel cell version that they are working on with Highlander into a Prius, I will be the first one to buy. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: This version of Prius may be the best car ever built. It is the perfect expression of what a car should be, in almost all aspect.
No, this is not a truck, and it will not be able to tow much.
But as a car, this Prius utilized so much of the best technology available to be commercialized. I read through the manual, and I still am not sure if I understand all that goes on in this car.
If you compare this Prius with Honda Insight, you will see that it's no match. Prius is a far more superior car than the Insight. Yes, it is more expensive up front, but fuel efficiency is far superior, that within 16 months of my everyday driving, it would have paid for the difference. And I get a far more for the money.
I highly recommend this Prius. The previous version was a junk compared to this one. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? The technology.
This car does not have a transmission, it has a very sophisticated sun gear using two electric and one gas engine to pick the speed.
It has no belts, all electric.
You can get heat or ac without the engine running. It has a variable speed ac compressor. It has algorithms for controlling the AC. This thing is amazing and the potential for improving it are almost limitless.
Until the other manufactures start make the radical changes Toyota has to the drive train they'll be playing catchup. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Rear viability is bad, but setting up your mirrors and a little more head turning can address the issue.
I strongly suspect the headlights will get cloudy early because they face up.
The little gear shift is in the way of the radio and other control buttons, but it is little, so you can get around it.
The rear wiper is worthless, loose it.
The door to change the oil is hard to deal with.
The little top glove box isn't very useful.
The center console door should open without having to slide back first.
The aux in (Ipod etc) should be in an easier place to get to and not be facing up so dirt and liquids will not be as likely to fall in.
There should be light into the space under the console. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: 50MPG is easy, 60 takes a little work, haven't gotten to 70 yet but it is still breaking in. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? We like its sharp styling, great mileage and futuristic cockpit with all the bells and whistles. It is very comfortable with the adjusting drivers seat, the Smart Key is great, and the navigation system works well. At this point we are really pleased with our purchase. Averaging 48 plus mpg in mixed driving conditions. It has as much if not more room than our 02 Camry and the cargo area is excellent. We went with the 17" tires to get improved handling and this gave us a little rougher ride! Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Visibility to the rear isn't the best - better have the back up camera. Would have liked to see the headliner and cargo area in the same color as our leather seats - minor point. Couldn't get the moon roof on the V which we would of liked to have. It is overpriced! 2010 Toyota Prius Review: Overall we are very pleased. It is a fun car to drive, although it takes some adjustment of driving habits. The mileage has been super and it is a comfortable ride with plenty of room in the cabin. Has plenty of "zoom" when you need it, although it isn't a sports car. You can't go wrong with this car if you can afford it! |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? The 2010 Prius has added many new bells and whistles that keep this vehicle on top. I have a Prius V with the Advanced Technology Package on order. The test drive confirmed the new Prius' improved performance and seating comfort. I really like the adjustable driver's seat and telescopic/tilt steering wheel. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Until I've driven the Prius for more than a test drive it's difficult to identify any cons. Perhaps a power outlet in the rear seats would be useful. Of course a plug-in would have been a nice option. But I'll be ecstatic if I can attain the 50 mpg rating. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: I agree that the Prius is not a "cheap" car. But it is a quality made vehicle and way ahead of the competition when it comes to design and options. The interior is very clean and uncluttered. The basic Prius is well worth the extra $1500 over the Honda Insight. In my case the Prius V comes with leather, 17-inch wheels, LED head/tail lights...all features I couldn't get with the Insight. I'm anxious to show off my red Prius and will enjoy passing all those gas stations. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? Looks nice. Drives reasonably well. Roomy inside. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Gas mileage STINKS! Rear view is pretty bad. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: This would be a great car if it lived up to its advertised gas mileage claims. Although it is said to get 50mpg, I average around 34mpg. Anything except driving downhill where you coast causes a huge drop in mileage. Forget about an uphill climb. It takes miles of downhill driving to make up for a quarter mile of uphill driving. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? Mileage. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Make the plug in available rather than going to after market. Provide a 2010 cd data disk for the 2010 navigation system. Pretty embarrassing for Toyota to sell a 2010 car with a 2008 data. Wow, it's not just the brakes or gas pedal. Hope I can sell it and just get out from under. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: Might try a dumb down version of a plug in but stuff like 2 year old data for the gps? Will stick with my Garmin and $50 update rather than a Toyota $250 update. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? Design. Turning ratio. Gas consumption. Size. Sound System. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? The car has creaks and rattles far beyond any car I have owned for the last 30 years, and it is only 2 1/2 months old.
There is a problem with the brakes as well. If the brakes are applied and the car goes over a bump, the brakes release their hold for a second or so. I have reported this to Toyota for I believe it is a safety concern.
The car also need lights for the mirror controls which are impossible to see at night. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? Technology. HUD (head up display is standard). Every other car on the road is using 100 year old technology. This feels so futuristic to drive. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Rear wiper should be in the center. That's it. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: I absolutely love it. It is such a breath of fresh air. When you drive this, you realize every other car is exactly the same from the cheapest to the dearest. My former cars in order - Audi A4, BMW320 (really disliked this small car), and just recently Saab 93. All bought new.
Compared to these the Prius is so futuristic and very different.
I gave performance a 4. This is a relative score. It is more than ample for every day use and especially passing out. But won't beat a Porsche at the lights (this is not what this car is about). |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? The gas mileage of course ! But .... as you've heard before .. "THE REAR WINDOW SPOILER"!! WHY ? Also mine is "noisy {".. not sure if if it is battery related .. Also radio bas frequency distorts. I am returning to Toyota to tell them to do something about that!! Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Lose the rear spoiler ...and center console! Install better radio ..speakers etc.! |

| 2010 Toyota Prius Review: I had a 2005 prius. Never got stuck in the snow, love'd it, bought a 2010 prius. Can't move if my front tires are on snow and on the the littlest incline. Do not buy this car if you live in any state that has snow!!!! Doris M |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? Prius is the role model that every car needs to look up to. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? The redesign lost some character. Some cool design element would make this car perfect in every way. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: We love our Prius. It's packed with technology, and it gets much better MPG than it's Honda competitor. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? Very quiet. Fantastic gas mileage. Roomy interior with lots of headroom. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? The Prius 2010 has terrible rear visibility. I have backed out of my driveway for 18 years and never come close to hitting the hickory tree on the driver's side at the end. Two weeks after purchasing the Prius 2010, I whammed it into the tree, thinking I was clearing it handily as usual. Every review on the Prius notes this problem; why has Toyota neglected it? There's no excuse for this design: a spoiler in the middle of the back window, a tinted window below, wide panels obscuring corner vision with a tiny little window in them, a window shape that narrows toward the bottom of the window, creating the sense that the body of the car is narrower than it is, and a large, solid headrest that's difficult to see around. Thank goodness I only hit a tree, even though the rear side panel is a mess. Changing lanes in traffic is dicey because of the visibility problem, and I am normally a very confident driver. I would expect there to be lawsuits over this, if there haven't been already. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: As much as I like the Prius, I couldn't recommend buying it until the dangerous visibility problem has been corrected. You shouldn't have to pay for a back-up camera to compensate for a design flaw. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? I like the look of hatchbacks, and they car is roomy inside. Good turning radius. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Costs WAY too much. Pollutes more than a hummer(counting what it takes to make it). Big plastic bar between the rear windows is at eye level, a very bad safety flaw. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: TOO MUCH MONEY! I could barley afford to get it, and when I took a test drive, IT SUCKED. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? Great Mileage, nice exterior, and that's it. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? WAY OVERPRICED!!!! The Prius 2010 Model III MSRP (with navigation) $25,985.00, yet with the added fees, plates, and recommended extended Warranty. The price jumped to around 32K, non-negotiable price according to dealer because of high demand. WHAT THE BLEEP!! so much for an affordable car!! The Honda Insight EX starts at 21,790 and are willing to negotiate price. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: NOT WORTH THE PRICE, EVEN IF YOU STRIP DOWN TO THE LOWEST MODEL. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? Excellent fuel consumption for a gasoline-powered car. Nothing else can touch it. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? Exterior styling should have taken more cues from latest Prius concept car. Instead, the 2010 is not that different from the 04-09 design. The concept car looked much more futuristic and would have been a nice evolution. 2010 Toyota Prius Review: We've had both the original 2001 and second generation 07 Prius. Both have been outstanding cars, the 07 in particular. With the 2010 model Toyota engineering continues its record of improving comfort, performance, and fuel consumption even more. Great car! |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Toyota Prius? I like the new design and many of the "out of the box" features, such as the solar panel sun roof. The car looks really comfortable and it's less shaped like an egg. Also, the sportier engine is a plus! Cons: How would you improve 2010 Toyota Prius? It's over priced! I really hope that Honda gives Toyota a real fight so that the price of a hybrid is more practical for consumers interested in going green. Also, I have no idea how a solar panel can cost so much money. I can get one installed on my home to power my microwave oven, refrigerator, entertainment system, and heating for much less. The solar panel on the Toyota can only power a small fan! And finally, why can't anyone with enough money get a car with ALL the features? 2010 Toyota Prius Review: Cool car but it cost way too much. I hope the auto dealers don't haggle me to pay above MSRP on a new Prius. It's terrible when they say, "If you don't buy this car, I have a line of other people who will." Cool cars shouldn't be left only for the computer science nerd hippies. |
