The cvt has a loud screeching / grinding noise as it decelerates.

2010 Nissan Rogue Review:
I am extremely disappointed with my Rogue because of the noise of the CVT as it decelerates. It sounds as if there is a fire engine behind me and I am told that Nissan is aware of the problem and there is nothing that can be done.
It is horrible customer service when they expect me to just live with the noise! I actually dread driving it
but do not want to take the loss getting rid of it so soon.

Not enough power.
Inside plastic door panels scratches easily.
Steering wheel grinds when turning.
Rattles on drivers side of door.
Paint peels at corners of rear bumper.

2010 Nissan Rogue Review:
During winter driving, I have experienced a build up of snow/slush and sand that has been accumulating along and between the outer and inner bottom edges of all the doors (inside and outside) and body (between the inside door and main body sill) of the Rogue. When you look at the front tires, they line up center along the bottom edge of the doors and the gap between the doors and body. This results in the snow/slush/sand mixture being forced between the door. As the snow/slush and sand freezes between the doors, it results in the frozen mixture actually chipping the paint along the entire bottom length of the inside body where the doors meet the bottom of the main body. This happens every time you open and close the door. I have noticed that the Rogue does not have a protective lower sill below the door to protect against such snow/slush and sand accumulation that other model in the Nissan family has and other car manufactures offer.

Has any other Rogue owner (in the areas that have snow) experienced the same problem I am facing, if so, please notify Nissan about this problem.

Not much resale value.
No automatic lights.
Trunk door is small compare to competitors and there is no remote button to open trunk.
Missing very common features.

2010 Nissan Rogue Review:
I don't understand why Nissan has missed a general features like automatic lights off which is very common in cheap cars. But after spending amount near to a luxury vehicle, still I did not receive this feature. I very often forgot to turn off lights. I blame myself that I did not look at this when I was buying my vehicle. After all, who will think that how Nissan forgets a common feature, which is available in every car.

Gas mileage not near advertised levels.
Dealer not able to locate or correct power steering failure which happens in very cold weather (-25c or lower). Problem began Jan 2010 and still not fixed (Jan 2010). Latest thing is that the power steering failed while I was driving, previously it was only when I turned on the ignition and the ps light would come on and the power steering did not work. This could be dangerous. JIM

Love the integrated bluetooth and keyless remote.

Cons: How would you improve 2010 Nissan Rogue?
No automatic lights, you have to turn the lights on and off manually, my last car you set it to turn on and it would automatically shut off when you turned off the car, and turn back on when you started the car. I keep forgetting to turn the lights on when it is dark out.

Also I ordered mine fully loaded, all the bells and whistles, including power seats, well this is not the case only the driver's seat is power and there is no way to lower the passenger seat. Sucks for my passengers

I love this vehicle except for a few minor things. Overall I am very happy with my Rogue. Drives like a dream.

2010 Nissan Rogue Review:
We have been SUV owners for a number of years starting with a Bronco II. The Rogue is our first crossover and I definitely like the ride.

It looks great, handles well and was priced very attractively at our local dealership. The power is adequate, but would benefit from a bit more punch. Minor quibble really.

Overall I am very happy with the vehicle.
