Pros: What do you like about 2010 Hyundai Tucson?
Beautiful exterior and interior designs, comfortable driving machine.

I like the USB which you can just plug in a flash drive with tons of MP3s or WMAs.

Performance on HWYs is very smooth, but hard to regain speed with the 4 cylinders.

Cons: How would you improve 2010 Hyundai Tucson?
Gas mileage is terrible. I have the 4 cylinders and I only get 22 city, 26 Hwy, sometimes less. This is a false advertisement that convinced me to buy it. I ended up spending as much gas as my previous v6 Highlander. The 4 cylinder Toyota Camry has much better mileage comparing to the Tucson.

Another thing that I'm disappointed with was the popular package. It has everything I need, except for the Navigator which I can understand. But leaving out the home link was the very bad mistake because it's only about $200 more.

Overall, it's a slick SUV to drive around. But I would not recommend it if it does not get improved with what I described above. I've had this car for one year and I'm not too impressed with the performance on the freeway. I kept thinking I should have gotten the V6 instead.

I also discovered that the suspensions started to make noise after 10k miles when I drive over a bump. I took it to the dealer and they did not see anything wrong with it. The service, however, is super good comparing to other dealers.

Styling.
Interior comfort.
Electronics (blue tooth on wheel!).
Great for long trips. Leather seats very comfortable, driver position very adjustable.

Horn is absolutely wimpy, need a bigger horn to wake up distracted drivers.
Reliability - had new transmission 9k miles, now have oil leak from drain plug. Bringing to dealer this week.

2010 Hyundai Tucson Review:
Rides tight and capable, corners like a sports car due to 18in wheels, very comfortable on long trips, very stylish, looks like a Lexus RX330 or a Infiniti FX35.

Started leaking trans fluid at 9K miles, turns out to be a tiny hole in the transmission case casting. Had a new transmission put in under warranty, dealer very understanding and gave me a loaner.

Now at 13k miles I have an oil leak from the drain plug. Have not had oil changed at dealer, not sure if there is a drain plug gasket or washer which should have been replaced.

Other than leaks, I am very happy with purchase. But, gotta fix that oil leak!

This was my first ever AWD vehicle and first crossover.

I purchased my Tucson on January 30th and the snow started falling that afternoon. In the next week we had two storms totaling over 4 feet of snow. During the heaviest snow month in Philadelphia's recorded history, my Tucson gave me excellent service. It feels very taut, more German than Asian. The handling is terrific and the car never failed me in inner city narrow snow covered streets.

While beauty is subjective, I do find the Tucson a swan among buzzards when looking at the typical square box crossovers on the marketplace. I have a two toned leather interior limited package that is gorgeous.

This car only listed for $27,000 but came with dual zone auto temperature air conditioning, two toned leather with heated front chairs, 18" alloy wheels, XM radio and bluetooth. A pure bargain.

In all honesty, I am perfectly satisfied.

In coming years I am sure the engineers will add Direct Injection and further improve performance while also increasing gas economy. I manage to get not less than 17 mpg in pure inner city driving, 27 mpg on the turnpike and 21 mpg in mixed driving.

I can't imagine getting more bang for the buck in a crossover that is actually beautiful.

Exterior design is the best out of all small suvs. Heck, it may be the best out of all suvs.

Interior is well designed and ergonomic. My back stay relaxed even after a long drive, which is a significant improvement from my last vehicles. The radio and hvac controls are so simple, yet functional.

Cons: How would you improve 2010 Hyundai Tucson?
Little more torque would be nice, but I wouldn't want to sacrifice the fuel efficiency.

The suv can be a few inches longer, so that the cargo space can acomodate larger items.

After a long wait, the Tucson makes it all worth it. I hear that the wait list is even longer now, as people are catching up with the new design.

Fuel economy is reasonably good for an suv. I would challenge Hyundai to get it up to 40 MPG on the next version, and I would buy it again.

There is a reason why Hyundai is growing, while others are suffering. Tucson is awesome (so far), and I really like the design on the new Sonata that's coming out later this year.

If Toyota did not have all those issues, I seriously considered the RAV4 but dropped it the last minute. RAV4 may be better engineered car, but I wouldn't sacrifice my family's safety.

Believe me, Tucsons are good reliable cars - I got my 2004 model 7 years, and I didn't face any major issues ...always those who face issues with cars means that they didn't care enough of their cars.. I am a mechanic and Hyundai is good and simple..never hesitate to purchase it..
