After watching the launch of the new 2011 Sonata, we decided that the new version is the way to go. 2010 Hyundai Sonata Review: 2010 Sonata looks completely outdated compared to the 2011 Sonata. We decided to wait until the new version hits the dealers. We did test drive the 2010 Sonata, and it drives well and everything else is adequate. But 2010 version is WAY behind the new one. I4 engine is underpowered, even though I appreciate the fuel economy. 2010 Hyundai Sonata Review: I opted for the 4 cyl engine, because of the fuel economy. So this is not a frills car for me. But as a daily commuter and family carrier, it does its job very well. And the price can't be beat. I bought the car, against some friends advice to lease because of reliability concerns. But so far it runs great and haven't had any issues. We'll see in three years.
