Yes, Car of the Year! Rightfully so!
Almost everything is perfect in this car. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Fusion?
Ford needs to do a better job marketing this car.
And maybe better exterior design would help get people to notice this car. It's too inconspicuous. 2010 Ford Fusion Review:
Motor Trend is right to pick Fusion as the Car of the Year! This Fusion deserves it, and Ford definitely deserves it. Today's success is result of past 5 years hard work, and it shows. GM and Chrysler went down, because they failed to work hard on turning the Titanic around in past five years. Yes, it does take five years to turn around these huge manufacturing companies.
Fusion is great.
The car handles like a mid-sized sedan should. Too many of the cars in the same class handle like a floating boat.
Inside looks much more expensive then the Ford I owned ten years ago. Ford hired pretty good interior designers, and they have done good work.
The exterior can improve. No one notices this car when I pull up. Why can't Ford guys can come up with some exciting looking car? At least give it some character. It's just a boring looking sedan.
And yes, I like the Sync. Microsoft stuff works in this car. People warned me about system crashes and such, but haven't happened yet. On a side note, I wonder if Apple will come up with something similar. Then people may not question it as much.
I love Fusion, and I hope it proves to be as reliable to Accord - then Ford will surely have long life of prosperity. |

Ford's reputation for reliability. 2010 Ford Fusion Review:
What a great car! I love it! The size is just right. Too many "mid-sized" cars became too big over the years.
Ford designers did a fine job with exterior design. It's not flashy, but not like a bubble either.
Microsoft stuff inside is great, and it works well. I never thought I would like anything from Microsoft.
The only concern I have is the reliability. It's way too early to tell. Ford that I've owned before started breaking down right after the three year warranty was over. I hope this one lasts, because I really like this car. |

Engine purrs, smooth handling, solid feel, awesome sound system, quiet ride and comfortable seats. I love the blind spot indicators, rear view camera, decent hwy mileage. Nice rims, ground effects and chrome. AWD is critical for my winters and powering around corners (no torque steer). Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Fusion?
Complex controls, dash could be improved, touchy wheel on hwy, heated steering wheel and memory seats would be nice on the Sport. 2010 Ford Fusion Review:

I love my fusion, handles excellent and looks very classy.
I really like the night lighting in and out of vehicle.
The back has lots of cargo space and back seat is roomy. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Fusion?

Huge improvement on handling. It drives nothing like the previous Fords. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Ford Fusion?
The car's design still looks bland. Better than the Fords from the past, but Ford can learn from Honda in design, then younger people might buy it.
Interior is much better than before, but feels little cluttered, especially the controls. 2010 Ford Fusion Review:
No regrets on buying it. Glad to see that Ford did not take taxpayers money, and is doing better. And this car doesn't feel cheap anymore. I look forward to more improved next version, and if that's the case, I'll buy it again in five years! |
