Top 5 Pros of 2010 Ford Expedition
Top 5 Cons of 2010 Ford Expedition

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2007 Ford Expedition?
Quality of the Eddie Bauer package, interior, electronics, road performance, reliability all really lovely. Love the lumbar supports in driver and front passenger seats.
This is our second Expedition in 11 years. Before buying our first Expedition, new, in 2000, other drivers treated our Mustang and even our Cadillac as though they had bullseyes painted on them. We have been hit 7 times in Bay County, ALL while fully stopped and waiting for the light to change.
Since 2000, we discovered that NOBODY deliberately drives in a stupid manner either cutting in ahead of or following too close behind, rear-ending, broad-siding from a lane going the other way (that driver actually told the police that she was watching a double rainbow instead of the road, when she rammed our Cadillac)! Motorists see the big Expeditions and don't mess with them. Despite the gas expense, it is worth not getting clobbered by yet one more moron and getting injured!
In bad weather, snow and ice, the Expedition is outstanding! We sit high enough to see what's ahead of other cars to avoid problems and we have every confidence, as do our waiting families, that we will reach our destination safely.
Expeditions are great to own and drive.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Ford Expedition?
Unlike in the 2000 Expedition, the 2007 Expedition headrest is pitched way too far forward for comfort, forcing he driver's and front passenger's chins closer to the chest, and making it very difficult to clearly see the road while driving. This design is only comfortable for big men. Women, almost uniformly, find the headrest very uncomfortable and their vision compromised if they lean into it.
The 2007 design includes electric fold-down 3rd seats which are great. However, as a result of the design and (guessing) need for extra support, the 2007 rear windows have big pillar supports on each side, creating huge blind spots that the 2000 Expedition never had. Ford designers failed to compensate for this by not providing an extended interior rear view mirror to see around these blind spots, either as standard equipment or as an after-purchase option, but they should have. The same length mirror as in the 2000 model, is in the 2007 even with its big blind spots. For safest vision in the 2007, it may be wise to buy a clip-on 15" mirror to see around the blind spots.
Lastly, unlike the 2000, the newer Expeditions, we learned, yesterday, have alternators that wear out quickly and Ford only offers a 1 year warranty instead of lifetime, (unlike other makes), on the replacement. My 2000 never needed the first one replaced, even at 160,000 miles. We have less than 40,000 on the 2007, and the alternator is shot. It is a costly replacement. If they hope to please the customers, Ford engineers need to return to the old alternator design, asap! In fact, a factory recall for this would be marvelous!

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Expedition?
The truck is great considering my family was driving a Dodge caravan around. The people that have the issue of having it being in the shop most of the time bought the wrong truck...
We bought our King Ranch Ford Expedition (full loaded) in 2006 and haven't taken it in for repairs once. It still looks brand new and I love how smooth it drives.
It can easily go up to 95 mph and seem like you are driving 60 mph so I'm not sure how they say that it's noisy driving over 65 mph.
I can barely feel the large bumps in the road with this vehicle also.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Expedition?
Get a better navigation system. The CDs are not cutting it. It's annoying and some of the places aren't on there because they are in between CDs. Each CD is a different region that's the only problem.
2006 Ford Expedition Review:
It's an overall great truck and love having it to drive around. It climbs the hills easily and the traction control is great. The traction control saved us from having some accidents also. The truck can make turns while having all the wheels locked up without losing control. I have tested the Rollover Stability Control and I have to say it drives like a car practically. There are times where I would be driving to fast on an unfamiliar road and a sudden sharp turn would come up and I could brake and turn without really worrying if I would rollover. Sure the tires would squeal but it did not feel as if it was going to rollover.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Expedition?
The 2006 Expedition, being my second Eddie Bauer Expedition, is a wonderful all around vehicle. It cannot be beaten with any other similar SUV, in my experiences and opinion. The fuel mileage is not bad considering other vehicles of its size and high profile. I easily get 21 mpg on the highway; only 13 to 14 in town. My first SUV, a 2003 Expedition, Eddie Bauer edition, on which I put 130k miles, convinced me that it was the vehicle for my family, for travel, for around town, grocery shopping, etc. The 2006 is fantastically responsive, and holds its own in acceleration and top speed a little better than did the 2003. The interior is well designed with quality material. As a Jaguar owner, also,I recognize quality. Ford's quality interior is as nice as one should expect unless he wishes to pay the price of a Lexus or Jag.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Expedition?
The absolutely only improvement that I see needed is in the fuel mileage. I recommend this vehicle to one and all. I suggest that a fuel level of 1/4 tank or better be maintained due to the installation of the fuel pump in the gas tank. Operating the vehicle with less than that amount on a regular basis can cause fuel pump problems. Also, the spark plugs should be changed as recommended by Ford. To allow one to blow out of its position can be costly to replace, as much as $700! Once the mileage passes 90k, the point at which Ford recommends changing the plugs, the chances of it rejecting a plug(s) are greatly enhanced.
2006 Ford Expedition Review:
All around great vehicle with exceptional quality! Love it; recommend it, highly!

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2008 Ford Expedition?
Great looks for starters. The design team really got this right.....exterior and interior.
Plenty of pull to get my 20' boat around.
Again, design, design.....like the interior....roomy as advertised.
Seating in 2nd/3rd row is "best in class".
Excellent cargo space.
Ride is excellent.....I have the 20" tires.
Navigation system works excellent.
The Ford Entertainment System (DVD) is excellent and quality. I have viewed several of the DVD units in electronics stores (BB, etc.) and the picture in this device is far better... excellent/sound quality is great and will be hard to beat unless you're dropping $10K+ worth of sound equipment into the vehicle.
Seats are very comfortable.....I had an 04 Expedition and liked it......this one is just "better"!
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Expedition?
Bluetooth.....I can't believe a vehicle in this time frame doesn't have BLUETOOTH.....it's so mainstream.
And I do have to say.....the MPG is.....what it is. The vehicle fills many needs for my family. And yeah, I do think "Green"......I drive a car which gets 25-32 mpg about 70% of the time.
2008 Ford Expedition Review:
I have owned many SUV's going back to the 80's. I drive conservatively and know how to use 4WD and how to treat a vehicle. This Ford Expedition is the luxury pick of all I've had and it handles all I throw at it with best in class response/performance.....this one's the EB King Ranch. This is a maximum enjoyable/maximum usage vehicle for my family, for vacations, for boat hauling, for trips to the local garden store.......

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2005 Ford Expedition?
Love it!
Lots of room and looks good inside and out.
Folding third row with a push of a button.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Ford Expedition?
I pay $200 in gas every 2 weeks :/
Only complaint, but that's to be expected, I guess.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2005 Ford Expedition?
-3rd row seats, power fold down 3rd row seats.
-Interior space, storage box.
-Heated/cooled seats.
-Love to see more and sit higher.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Ford Expedition?
-AC sucks in the Eddie Bauer version (the air is nearly warm). I was wondering if I need to pay for AC recharge.
-Hate the noise.
-Too big.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2008 Ford Expedition?
Well refined interior.
Power 3rd row looks good.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Expedition?
Headrests can't be removed for kids' car seats.
Cup holders on doors are square, not round and not deep enough. Bottled waters tip over.
Poor gas mileage.
Underpowered.
Ford removed the 2nd set of the 3rd row seat controls from the drivers side.
Satellite radio antenna is mounted where the Ford aftermarket moonroof vent shield goes.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2009 Ford Expedition?
Great styling and aggressive stand.
Gets around good in winter.
Good interior space.
Heated and cooled seats are a bonus.
Cons: How would you improve 2009 Ford Expedition?
My middle seat that folds down to access the third row broke and Ford cannot seem to figure out how to fix it. It's been in the shop for 4 days and no fix yet.
The 6 speed transmission is getting better, but it still seems to shift hard at times.
The chrome clad wheel covers are worthless. They are hard to clean and start pitting in the first month. It needs an aluminum wheel alternative.
2009 Ford Expedition Review:
It's been a great car so far. A few bumps in the road that lead me think maybe I should have looked in to a Denali. Mine stickered for 50k plus so I was kind of expecting more.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Expedition?
Roomy interior.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Expedition?
We have replaced the fuel pump twice in 2 years, Ford doesn't stand behind warranty either, nothing but headaches.
The ford installed remote start doesn't work, nothing but a lemon.
2006 Ford Expedition Review:
First and last Ford I will buy, not reliable at all, every 6 months it's in the shop for something, definitely buyer beware!

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2005 Ford Expedition?
My Expedition maneuvers into parking spots and in general like a car.
The take off is wonderful.
I love the 3rd row seat you still have leg room and when you need extra storage all you have to do is push a button and the seats fold flat.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Ford Expedition?
The cons however are the breaks squeaked like crazy so I had to replace them with a better pad.
Also the molding around the car seems to break really easy so maybe instead of plastic holding molding to the car it should be metal.
2005 Ford Expedition Review:
As much as I love my car I hate the fact that every couple of months something new is wrong with it.
It only has 40,000 miles and the catalitic converter already had to be replaced and a coil went out in the engine. The ac has broken 2 times now and I am experiencing electrical issues. Plus the rear hatch/ window leaks even though the window has been replaced, the weather stripping also replaced, and the window has been aligned 2 times it still leaks.
I know many people with this vehicle and they have had no problems. Mine must be a lemon!
