| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Cadillac SRX? Great looks. Latest technology. Excellent gas mileage. Reasonable service charges. And it costs less than its Lexus competition Cons: How would you improve 2010 Cadillac SRX? I am 100% happy with it.... 2010 Cadillac SRX Review: The 2010 Cadillac SRX might carry a familiar name, but it's got an all-new look that TheCarConnection.com finds to be polarizing, though not without its merits. While the exterior strikes a bold, some would say overwrought, stance, the interior scores major points with automotive experts for its level of detail and refinement and should impress all who find their way inside the new SRX Cadillac.
Cadillac's latest entry in the hugely competitive crossover segment is the Cadillac SRX, a five-passenger vehicle for which Car and Driver says "three trim levels are available: Luxury, Performance, and Premium." For the 2010 Cadillac SRX, Cadillac's designers have thoroughly revised the entire vehicle, and Car and Driver reports that "length is down by 4.6 inches, height by 2.1 inches, and wheelbase by 5.9 inches" in order to better combat the segment leader, the Lexus RX 350. Automobile Magazine is pleased to report that, "fortunately, Cadillac didn't take the bland design and mushy suspension bait," but rather endowed the Cadillac SRX with "in-your-face styling" that Jalopnik considers "seriously appealing." Jalopnik goes on to call the new styling "the latest and probably the most successful interpretation of Caddy's 'Art and Science' theme," with a "combination of curves and creases, the art and science [that] makes the SRX much louder than its crossover competition." Autoblog finds that some of the most prominent design elements include "an in-your-face grille punctuated by a big badge resting between two huge, uniquely-shaped HID headlights [that] give the front end a look that is unmistakably Cadillac." Cars.com rounds out the exterior description by remarking that the SRX Cadillac "at once looks taller, if not higher off the ground, than the previous generation, yet it bears a resemblance to the Cadillac CTS sport wagon."
Reviewer praise continues to the Cadillac SRX's interior, which Car and Driver says "equals or exceeds anything in the class" with styling touches like "elegant compound curves in the door handles [that] make them look like Georg Jensen jewelry." Automobile Magazine notices that "LEDs provide a pleasant glow behind the black-on-white instruments," while Jalopnik asserts that, "on virtually every front, the SRX matches the RX 350." Autoblog is particularly impressed with "the cabin's impressive center stack" that features "a jewel-like analog clock, high-end materials and the massive (and we mean truly huge) retractable nav screen" that disappears into the upper dash. That nav screen is a slick touch inside the 2010 SRX Cadillac; Autoblog reports that, "when not in use, the nav screen stays tucked away, and when it [is] time to find something, the system [comes] alive with the touch of a button."
Conclusion Smaller but bolder, the 2010 Cadillac SRX crossover has the Lexus RX 350 squarely in its sights. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Cadillac SRX? Pros: Attractive styling and comfortable interior. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Cadillac SRX? Cons: Very underpowered for a 4,000 lb. + SUV. Should offer turbo V6 as optional upgrade on front wheel drive models. Also transmission "hunts" for correct gear under mild acceleration. 2010 Cadillac SRX Review: Very disappointing performance for a totally redesigned SUV. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Cadillac SRX? Nice size. Great gas mileage 27 mpg, off dealers lot on trip from NC to PA. Good price. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Cadillac SRX? Poor performance when accelerated too quickly. 2010 Cadillac SRX Review: This does not compare with the Escalade I traded for it, but given the gas mileage and the price I am pretty happy. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Cadillac SRX? Innovative styling. Impressive electronics package. Adequate room for driver and passengers. Excellent on ice and in deep snow. Good handling. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Cadillac SRX? Better engine performance or better mileage-preferably both. Improve quality control- for a brand new vehicle, it has spent more hours being serviced than driven. Parts should be available much sooner than two to three weeks. Especially when one is stranded 1500 miles from home. 2010 Cadillac SRX Review: Good concept for a vehicle. Love the car but... Extremely unreliable for a supposedly quality vehicle. But better than a Lada I suppose. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Cadillac SRX? Stylish, great electronics system and interior options, smooth ride. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Cadillac SRX? Interior lights don't shut off automatically. No air control for the second row seats (although advertised as such). Getting 20 mpg average (but I knew that when purchasing). Have not found a gas station YET where the pump doesn't click off 2 seconds after starting the gas pumping, have to turn it upside down (James Wood dealership told us they could not reproduce it although it has happened to use at every single station for 3 months now). 2010 Cadillac SRX Review: It's a great vehicle as long as you are okay standing in the cold pumping gas and you don't accidentally leave lights on (our battery died in the first month from an interior light). The ride is excellent, the features are outstanding otherwise. The engine could be better, but it is good enough. I drive it any chance I get. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Cadillac SRX? None. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Cadillac SRX? Had the car 1 month only had 542 miles on it. DROVE THROUGH A PUDDLE THAT WAS ABOUT 3-4 INCHES DEEP AND THE CAR SHUT OFF AND I NOW NEED A NEW ENGINE POSSIBLE TRANSMISSION AND WHATEVER ELSE THE INSURANCE ADJUSTOR MAY SEE. FYI CADILLAC SAID IT WAS AN ACT OF GOD AND WILL PAY FOR NOTHING!!!!! ALSO LOST MY COMPLETE WARRANTY ON A CAR I SPENT 47,000 CASH. |

| 2010 Cadillac SRX Review: Car developed a gas leak the first week I had it from a faulty 0-ring which the person who checked my car says was due to faulty manufacturing. Very depressing. Fumes were so noxious it made us ill and were hazardous so we couldn't keep it in the garage. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Cadillac SRX? I like the interior styling, especially the fit and finish as it is second to none in this class and everything seems to be exactly where you would expect it to be (I test drove one for 3 days and ordered the new one with the 2.8t).
Also the exterior is much more pleasing to the eye than the older version of the SRX which I leased for 39 mos. (06).
Handling, especially with the level 3 suspension and the haldex all wheel drive system is superb, absolutely second to none, not even the much touted BMW x5. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Cadillac SRX? Power train 3.0L direct injection non performing - not what should be offered in a luxury vehicle as it is very anemic. What happened to the wonderful 3.6L engine that was chosen to be one of the top ten engines in the world? It's very disappointing that I had to shell out an additional $8k in order to get the 2.8L turbo that should have been made available in every model and not just to the performance and more expensive models which requires one to shell out thousands more dollars just to get a decent power train. All the other car manufacturers of similarly priced vehicles provide much better power trains as standard equipment on all models. Come on General can't you even copy and get it right. DUH |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Cadillac SRX? The Looks. The Handling. Haven't had it long enough to check gas mileage. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Cadillac SRX? Not enough head room in the back seat. Rain hitting the top above windshield sounds like hail. The drivers seat will not return to preset position without hitting preset. Replace Manual Steering Wheel Adjustment with Electric. 2010 Cadillac SRX Review: I Love the Vehicle. My beef is relatively Minor. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2010 Cadillac SRX? Exterior design. Utilitarian. Cons: How would you improve 2010 Cadillac SRX? Better engine performance. Interior does not feel like a luxury vehicle. 2010 Cadillac SRX Review: SRX is a good utilitarian car. I wish it had better MPG and more luxurious interior. |
