| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Suzuki SX4?
I have a 2008 Model SX4 Sedan that we bought in 2009 brand new for $13,500 out the door. It now has 2,600 miles on it and has performed without a glitch. I'm getting an average of 23/24 mpg around town and 29/30 on the freeway (at 70 mph). That gives me a 300 mile range on the highway and that's time to get out and stretch or eat so I think the gas tank is big enough. I would buy another one in a heart beat. Suzuki vehicles are basically a (sleeper) company here in Southern Calif. (San Diego) and it appears that they're catching on as I'm starting to see more like mine and the Cross-over every time I drive around. Seems you notice other cars like the one you happen to be driving. Love it and would take it over a Civic, Versa or Corolla any day and keep the $5K I saved for other fun things to do. Hard to beat the warranty and now that Chevrolet and Chrysler have folded up with the Government changing their diapers, some of the (closed) Chrysler dealers have picked up Suzuki so it's even better for service and anything else that might come up... Cons: How would you improve 2009 Suzuki SX4?
The only con that comes to mind is when I have the drivers window all the way down, the seat belt mount that's near my left shoulder catches the wind and can get annoying. If you roll the window up about 1/4 then it stops but that's about it. 2009 Suzuki SX4 Review:
I would buy another one without question. It's not a race car, the Cross Over is not a Ralley car. If you think you need a cold air intake and turbo's then just buy a vehicle with a V6 and get 13 mpg while you race around and get tickets. These are well made vehicles and they do exactly what they're designed to do... Get you from point A to point B in one piece (every time). My Daughter is 12 and this will be her first car when she's 16 (and still under warranty) unless it's stolen or hit by an illegal with no insurance. (Very common here). If you don't have uninsured motorist and live in Calif., get it. Don't think about getting it...get it. (No I'm not an insurance salesman) just learned the hard way... |

I have an SX4 JLX 2009 since Oct 2008, therefore for over a year, I love that car more every day, this car is so much fun to drive, and I feel very safe while driving it.
Over the past 30 years, I purchased so many vehicles, that one beat them all. This car is very well build, no it is not a muscle car, but the 2 liters engine get me easily where I want to go, when I want to go, and always keep a smile on my face every time I'm driving it.
It handles any kind of road, so very well. I test drive zillions vehicles before to purchase that SX4, I was very skeptical about Suzuki prior trying the SX4, what a surprise I had.
I could write another five pages, to make it short, go try on. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Suzuki SX4?
I cannot find anything negative about that car, except that it prevailed over driving my Harley Davidson motorcycle, a number of times. |

Good solid car! Good on gas, stick is very responsive. I have no problem merging up on hwy. loaded car with base model. Not like Toyota you gotta have package to have power door, suzuki has it right there.
Entry level car for student, and those who just need to drive to work and go home with a piece of mind. Design is really unique. Good on gas. Just love it. I will definitely regret if I buy civic or matrix. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Suzuki SX4?
Honestly, the passenger airbag and seating sensor have some problem. Not sure what is it, but it does come odd. Will do check up. Nothing much to complain about. 2009 Suzuki SX4 Review:
Decent car for students. Loaded with really cheap price. It is really hard to find a loaded car (air con+power everything) under 20K. Recommend to everyone. It would be much better if Suzuki offers AWD standard for all 3 trims, and have all 3 trim has 16 wheels. This will add value to this car. |

I have had my 2009 sx4 sedan Sport for about three months now, and I LOVE it! We have just had our first snowfall and it handles Alberta winters quite well. The handling is amazing and I am able to pass when I need to. Though it is not a fast car, it looks pretty darn good (especially in the pearl red!) and gets you where you want without complaining! Cons: How would you improve 2009 Suzuki SX4?
There are not too many problems with this car. The only major one I can tell you about is the 'A' frame of the car. It is pushed froward so you get these little windows by your side mirrors. Stopped at a red light and wanting to turn right, you have to be careful because pedestrians can be blocked. Even with those windows there. Other than that, more color options would be nice. 2009 Suzuki SX4 Review:
If you have the extra money, and want more value and service than that of a Corolla, Yaris or Civic, the Suzuki SX4 sedan is for you!!
Not to mention all the safety features included!

Suzuki can definitely improve on designs, inside and out. 2009 Suzuki SX4 Review:
MINI, move over! Yes, SX4 is BETTER than MINI. I am glad that Suzuki is making commercials that finally make sense for the SX4 owners.
Of course, everyone has to admit that MINI is cuter looking and has way better interior. But MINI is not as reliable, and you pay A LOT more.
SX4 has the performance and the utility that's way better than MINI. I highly recommend it. |
