2009 Subaru Impreza Review:
This car, the Subaru Impreza wagon 2.5i, first caught my eye with it's looks. It looked like a much pricier car, and that didn't change the closer I got to it. The other thing that caught my eye was the sticker price. So much lower than I expected. At $17,095, it was priced $205 cheaper than the not-as-comparable, and not-as-well-equipped, (or liked) Suzuki SX4 I checked out the previous day.

I checked out quite a few cars before I finally decided on the Impreza hatchback. What really sold me on the Impreza over all of the others was the quiet interior and AWD. I was afraid that moving into a smaller car meant major road noise, but it wasn't the case with this car. And it's nice to have that all wheel drive for those snowy days.

And it is a head turner. More than a few cute chicks have looked my way since I bought this car a few days ago. And, trust me, I need all the help in that area that I can get.

I was hoping to get some pretty decent gas mileage out of this car, and I wasn't disappointed. I've been averaging about 28 mpg, and that's about 10 mpg more than the previous vehicle I owned.

So far, very happy with this little car. I hope that doesn't change.

I have a WRX. Drives wonderfully. I can't recommend this car enough.

Gas mileage isn't as bad as people want to make it out to be - I'm getting 22 plus city driving.

Passenger seat sits too low. Needs to have the same up/down adjustment as the driver's seat. I'm too low to even rest my arm on the bottom of the window opening.

Goes like a rocket with four snow tires.

Radio, even with ten speakers is very weak.

Subaru, even though you are not a luxury maker, you can do better with the interior material.

Until I bought this car, my co-workers didn't know that I had a racer in me. In the beginning, no one knew that my new car had so much capability, but the word spread. Now everyone wants to drive it during lunch. I don't let them touch it.

Understated look that disguises true sportiness of the awesome performance car.

Interior can definitely improve. Yes, it feels like a rally car - bare bone with nothing too fancy.

2009 Subaru Impreza Review:
Only the people who know understand the true genes behind this car.

Impreza is awesome.

Over 300 horses underneath this small car, equipped with rally inspired suspension and handling, can beat any sports car in the city.

What I really like about this car is the understated exterior. I don't have to show off with some fancy design that has almost no function when you are driving around (unless you are on autobahn).

This is, my friends, a true city sports car.
