2009 Nissan Murano Review:
So far so good with my 2009 mo.

I used synthetic k&n filter. it took me 16 hours to get from syr, NY to Jacksonville, FL. with ease and comfortable ride.

My second Murano - I had a 2006. Gas leveler went bad. So I jump in a 2009. Love it and looking at the convertible once they figure out how to keep the top from discoloring from the weather.

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Nissan Murano?
I have grown accustomed to the features of my Murano.
Like the power lift door on the back.
The back-up camera wows my passengers.
The sound system is nice.
Heated leather seats are a nice addition in Colorado, as well as the AWD and stability control.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Nissan Murano?
Front fenders are very high and rounded preventing visibility of the front of the car.
The rear window and rear side windows were made smaller than the previous years, and the blind spot visibility if you look over your right shoulder, is absolutely non-existent.
Performance? It is sporty looking, has good pick-up but faulty head gasket material will cause you to spend your weekends at the dealer's service center. Especially after the original warranty has expired. Six repairs, in 5 months.
Overrated, over priced, with no resale value.

2009 Nissan Murano Review:
Very disheartened with my Murano. The first 30,000 miles I was living the dream. Great handling, good power, nice creature comforts. I used to turn around and look at my Murano before I entered a building. A very nice, sporty looking, slick vehicle.

Now a mechanical nightmare, the honeymoon is over. Trade it? Purchased a year and a half ago, it now books $12,000 less than what I owe.

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Nissan Murano?
Great engine which would be even greater with a 6 speed auto behind it rather than the blasted CVT.
Love the backup camera.
Very comfortable. Long cross country drives are easy.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Nissan Murano?
6 Speed automatic to replace the CVT.
Bring back the door side pockets that tip open for easier access like my old 2005 Murano had.
Move the outside temp back to the center info panel so the passenger can read it.
Bring back the analog gas mileage readout. Get rid of the bar display.
Sun roof has too much wind noise when closed.
The glove compartment is too deep. You could lose one of your kids in it. Impossible for the passenger to reach to the back of it with seatbelt on.
