Pros: What do you like about 2009 Nissan GT-R?
Its reputation! I read about in a magazine and I just had to have it. It is unique and somewhat rare, I don't see a lot of them out on the road especially in my neck of the woods. It looks sporty, turns heads and everyone recognizes it from young to old. It handles great and I feel secure driving it. I drove a Cadillac XLR before buying the GTR and I had to get use to the stiff steering but I love it now and find driving the caddy a little scary. The GTR breaks like you've hit a brick wall and you need that in a high performance vehicle. It's all wheel drive and I drive it in the winter snow and it handles like a dream. I am going up icy hills back home while passing SUV's and trucks.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Nissan GT-R?
I would add a few more conveniences such as memory seats and auto head light controls. The price of ownership is quite high also. Not the sales price but maintenance. Everybody brags about the sticker price best sports car for under a 100 grand true but when you change the tires you have to change all four and if you need to replace the breaks same thing. The oil changes are not cheap either. In fact the dealer will try to sell you the service plan it's about $10,000. Another downside my 2009 GTR had a $10,000 dealer mark up. He said it was to cover training of the mechanic? I guess he saw sucker written on my forehead. Nissan will continue to make money off of you long after the purchase since you can only use their specially formulated oils and lubricants and of course if you get into an accident it has to go some where in California (if you're in the west) for repair.

2009 Nissan GT-R Review:
Overall I love the vehicle. It handles like a dream and the power is incredible. My husband poo pooed sports cars for years and said he never found one that impressed him. He can't say that now. He drove the car from the dealership (and topped speeds of 140 mph) and has been hooked on it ever since. He made it up to 195 mph and said it doesn't feel like it's moving until you go over 180 mph). The all wheel drive makes it special. You can handle those speeds with much more confidence than you can with a rear wheel drive vehicle. Nissan out did themselves. I only have have 2000 miles on the vehicle and it has had a recall on the transmission so it may still be too early to tell. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Nissan GT-R?
The toque from 2,000-redline is tremendous. This car is definitely worth the price compared to the high end sports car. I took on my buddy who has an '08 CLK 63 AMG on the track and the GT-R definitely kept up with it!!! For the price on the CLK, you can almost buy 2 GT-R's.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Nissan GT-R?
More interior insulation. Not a car I recommend for long driving since engine and exhaust tone will get to you, but what do you expect from a true sports car.

2009 Nissan GT-R Review:
If you have the $$$ and is looking for a true sports car, buy the GT-R!!!

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Nissan GT-R?
Power, handling, everyday usability.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Nissan GT-R?
Offer NISMO carbon fiber upgrades. Find a way to reduce the cost of brakes ($6-8K for replacement).

2009 Nissan GT-R Review:
Other than a few odd noises (from dual-clutch semi-auto and the giant cross-drilled brakes), the car is perfect. I especially like the "music box", which allows you to record up to 2900 songs from CDs while driving.
