| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? STYLE - It stands out from overly crowded models on the road such as RAV4 and CRV. I really like the tail gates design.
PRICE - For the standard options it comes with the V6 engine, the RAV4 and the Tribute will cost $$$$ more. (Forester and CRV were my other choices but they only offer 4 cylinder engines, I found them noisy and under power.) As well I took advantage of the 0% financing for 48 month!
WARRANTY - 10 yrs/ 160,000km power train; 5 yrs road side assistant and transferable. No one can beat that. I believe the vehicle is reliable that Mitsubitshi can offer such warranty. Even my dealer says why bother trying to sell me extended warranty. Vehicles made in Japan have better quality! Cons: How would you improve 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? Dash material is not the best and easily marked. But at least there is no dash noise like the Toyota and Hondas I owned before that drove me nuts.
Gas tank is too small. For a 4WD it should be at least 80 litres or more.
I have driven 1500 km so far. Gas mileage is average 16 city and 24 mpg HWY. I hope it will improve. I drive it mainly on manual mode and usually start at 2nd gear which I found saves gas. 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander Review: I did my research and test driven many CUVs before decided on the Outlander which I strongly believe I made the right choice.
There are some talks about the reliability and the lack of dealership for support. This model is only out for 2/3 years - reliability is yet to be judged and I believe Mitsubishi is here to stay. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? After driving way back a 1991 awd Eagle Vista (sold under Jeep then) and made by Mitsubishi, I realized how practical and TOUGH these vehicles were. Went moose hunting with it, drove over rough mountain road, deep snow in winter and it never failed me once. Had it for ten years, over 300,000 kilometer on it and still running good when I sold it.
Now I bought an 2009 Ls version and LOVE IT! Faster than an Acura MDX (raced one) with this engine-6 speed tranny combo...it gives me 9.6 liters for every 100 kilometers (30 m/g highway) at 110 kl. at that speed, the engine runs at less than 2000 RPM...wow! Cons: How would you improve 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? Bigger gas tank (at least 70 liter size) nicer, BRIGHTER colors inside and out...like the one for the Lancer Ralliant has (fuse-copper orange, medium blue metallic...)
Two tone color seats. Longer central arm rest (two more inchs pls.)
More output torque for the 3 liter engine (like 20 foot-pounds more). The hp is fine. 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander Review: It drives very similar to the Lancer car, handling above any suv in its class...no doubt. Looks and feels way more then its price. Space, comfort and lock AWD are fantastic at the hunting Camp.
When you want to pass 3-4 slower cars on the highway...just press three quarters (no need to floor it) and it will "impress you" by its smooth and fast power...on demand!
Compared it to anything (drive it) and you will become a believer. Bravo Mitsu....:-) |

| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? Cars have great racing and electronic technology without the high priced tag. Once you drive it you will see why customer develop a loyalty to the brand. They say it's slow, but for me it's fast because I know how to use it. Peace of mind, you can be sure that it never gives you roadside trouble. Style and stance. Different from the crowd. Most people buy Mitsubishi because they have had it before. Proven 4wheel technology not just a hype in advertising. Still directly made in Japan. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? Lots of plastic in the interior-they lack on that area-rally bred but no luxury. 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander Review: The Mitsubishi car is a recognized 12x Paris Dakar Rally Winner-toughest race in the world. Their four wheel technology and proven toughness are derived from that race- car manufactures recognized their expertise in that field is why they have Mitsubishi's powertrain and turbo for high end brand. Ever wonder why they have a 10 year warranty on the powertrain because they test it on the rally and it survived 12x. You could never say that to the other car brand in the market but they have great advertising though. I developed my loyalty to the brand because it never gave me roadside trouble for the for 15 years, it's tough and reliable. There is no luxury on it but surely it will take you there! |

| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? I own a 2009 XLS and absolutely LOVE IT! I love the handling, acceleration, brakes, the non-clutter controls (user friendly), so many cool extra gadgets for the price! Comfortable, wicked stereo system, lots of rear leg room (thanks to the rear adjustable seats), third row seat- Great for in the pinch situations! The Best 2WD -4WD system. Japanese reliability, backed with an amazing warranty. Fuel millage- good. (way better than my Ford Escape that I traded in for this!) Cons: How would you improve 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? - I would like to see the HP around 250 for the V6 3.0L. - Do a better job hiding the rear spare tire (not a big deal, you only see a couple of inches) - It's nothing compared to the RAV4's ugly rear end! 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander Review: Great looks, the sport car of small SUV'S with lots of room, 4WD, loads of gadgets, amazing stereo, reliable with a warranty to back it up! THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK, BY FAR! |

| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? I like the style. Mitsubishi has came a long way and with its 10yr/100k mile warranty you can tell they have faith in their product. I don't own one but I do work for Mitsu and drive them almost daily. The XLS is awesome is its exterior is similar to that of the Lexus competition. The Fosgate and Nav systems is great. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? I would improve its horse power... that's it I guess. Can't say its reliability is in question. It is after all a 2009. Anyone saying it's not reliable needs to be realistic please. Let's wait a couple of years at least and see what problems show up. Good thing its warranty is great just in case. :) 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander Review: My cat is drinking water out of my cup. I'm more worried about her then the 2009 Outlander. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? RESPONSIVE STEERING GREAT AUDIO / NAV SYSTEM NICE STYLING LOADS OF ACCESSORIES AVAILABLE Cons: How would you improve 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander? UPGRADE HEATER / A/C CONTROLS 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander Review: THIS CROSSOVER IS A BLAST TO DRIVE, WITH ITS CAR LIKE HANDLING & PADDLE SHIFTERS, YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE YOU'RE DRIVING AN SUV! THIS IS A VERY COMFORTABLE VEHICLE. IT'S 650 WATT ROCKFORD FOSGATE STEREO & NAV SYSTEM ARE HEAD & TAILS ABOVE WHAT THE COMPETITORS IN ITS CLASS HAVE TO OFFER. ANYONE IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW HIGHLANDER OR CR-V SHOULD CHECK THE OUTLANDER OUT! I DID & NOW I OWN ONE! |
