I like the way it rides and the interior is very roomy and its a great highway cruiser.

I would give it about 60 to 75 more horse power to the motor. I just ordered and got in the mail a gforce hi-po chip. I will be installing it tomorrow with a spectre high flow air filter. Let's see if this helps.

I would give it 75 more horse power to the motor. I'm looking to find a computer chip to give it the 75 horses it needs to make it just right for cruising.

It's a great AMERICAN full size sedan that devours interstate miles. My wife was t-boned (driver side door), at about 40 mph, by a "large" Toyota. She was not hurt, and the repair bill exceeded $5,000. In a smaller car, like her Sable, she could have been injured. It may be a chrome-plated cop car, but it's the BEST for long distance travel. It's "dated"--SO WHAT?--SO AM I! 25-6mpg @75mph ain't exactly chopped liver.

Its size.
The trunk is the biggest of any full size car I looked at.

Was talked into trading in my 2nd 3yo Grand Marguis to upgrade. I test drove other makes for 2 weeks from sports to SUV's to Cadillac and ended up trading for my 3rd Grand Marquis. No other car was as comfortable and as smooth riding with seating capacity for the price. So dependable. Not as great on gas as the smaller cars, but well worth the luxury ride and the space. So nice for long trips and the trunk space is awesome. Has plenty of power. I added the sun roof, chrome package, half vinyl top, and tinted windows and will keep her forever...no trading in this one!

Heated seat option would be sooo nice.
