2009 Jeep Wrangler

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Jeep Wrangler?
I love the looks and tough styling. I have the white x model with the 3.8 liter 6 speed manual.

The four wheel drive is amazing and it will go anywhere offroad with ease.
Definitely an attention getter.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Jeep Wrangler?
It definitely needs more power and different gearing. On the road it can't get out of it's own way but it is a Jeep, and anyone who knows Jeeps already knows this. I live where there are many hilly roads and the lack of power is definitely a downfall. Driving at highway speeds the Jeep gets quite squirrely as well, but once again, it's a Jeep.

2009 Jeep Wrangler Review:
Offroad it will go anywhere and it's fun to drive. If you want a smooth ride though and something that will perform on road, look elsewhere. I have it as a daily driver and due to that fact, I am looking to sell mine. If I didn't have to drive it daily and could just keep it for weekend driving I would keep it forever.

Pros: What do you like about 2009 Jeep Wrangler?
I have a RHD Wrangler which is fantastic for delivering mail.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Jeep Wrangler?
The water runs right down on my leg from the drip edge on top of the door.
Has a lot of air noise.
Gas pedal is to far down for someone with short legs.

2009 Jeep Wrangler Review:
I have had problems with this Jeep since my first oil change--my oil change guys told me there was metal in my rear axle oil--took it to Jeep dealer in Clare, MI and was told this was normal. At 16,000 miles my oil change guys again told me I really need to have something done, the fluid in the rear axle was metallic. Took to another dealership and they pulled the plug on rear axle and the fluid was silver with metal shavings. Had to replace entire rear axle assembly (warranty job) I also have a LOUD tick in the engine when i start it in the morning and I am using a quart of oil in 1000 miles. Taking back to dealership today!
NOT IMPRESSED so far!!!!

Diesel inline 4 4L or 6L.

I can't explain - it is just a blast to drive.

It's a Wrangler, what else can you say, maybe a V8.

Gas Mileage is better than I thought. It has a great strong ride, plenty of power, looks awesome, what else can I say.

Cons: How would you improve 2009 Jeep Wrangler?
This Jeep has lost its edge as an outdoor vehicle. Perhaps the marketing department pushed it to become more of a city car.

Interior is also very disappointing. Wrangler never had great interior, but it has not improved over the years, where as the competitors zoomed by.
