| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Hyundai Genesis?
There's nothing to dislike about the Genesis but everything to LOVE. Genesis is one of the most beautiful luxury sedans on the road. This car is composed, taut, powerful and a commanding presence.
The leather buckets are supportive and comfortable. The leather wrapped dash is extremely attractive and stands unique in a world of wooded trimmed dashboards. Everything is understated luxury that expresses good taste.
I chose the 3.8L V6 which is rated at 290 hp. This car accelerates and runs the course smoothly and with a tremendous rush of instant power. Around town it gives me 17 mpg and I've gotten 58 mpg on turnpike trips.
If you find German luxury is too harsh and cold, and Japanese luxury too soft and floaty, then the Genesis will be just right for you. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Hyundai Genesis?
The bluetooth system is sub-par and does not download my blackberry. I'm forced to manually enter a limited number of phone contacts. My 2010 Tucson is far better with its system.
Power folding door mirrors are another feature that would be welcomed.
Other than that, I find the car to be perfection on wheels. 2009 Hyundai Genesis Review:
Do you need to prove to your clients and neighbors that you can afford an "S" Class or 7 series, or at least an LS460? Then you need a status symbol and not a car.
If you want a car that will give you endless miles of pleasure and at a better price point than you'd expect, then go buy or lease a Genesis today. This car is five stars. ***** |

Style & clean lines.
Interior.
Power.
Great GPS.
Quietness.
It's genuine feel of luxury.
Have 8600 miles on my Genesis. Have the 6 cyl, with all options, including the European Luxury pkg. Had 4 Lexus' prior to this, 1 GS 400, 1 ES 350, and a 2003 snd 2004 LS 430. Do not miss any of them and do not feel as though I compromised.
I have been stopped countless times while getting gas, in parking lots, with questions of "What kind of car is that? It's beautiful." 19-20 miles/gal city and 28-30 on the rd. Although not needed, I use high test gasoline.
Would highly recommend the Genesis Sedan. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Hyundai Genesis?
Passenger seat with more options. (like Driver's seat)
Power fold in mirrors.
Power extension for more leg support for front seats. (All minor, but it would be nice to have.)

I love the ride, the performance and the looks of this car. It is a very quiet car to ride in and has so many features for the price. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Hyundai Genesis?
I would like to see the passenger seat have the same adjustments as the driver's seat. Would also like to see the car equipped with remote start. Get rid of the Dunlop tires. 2009 Hyundai Genesis Review:

I love everything about the car in particular the quiet ride inside, its great looks and all the features. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Hyundai Genesis?
I would like to see the Genesis come standard with Bluetooth and a tire pressure monitoring system. 2009 Hyundai Genesis Review:
Overall, I have never been happier with a car. I have had the vehicle over 6 months now and have not had to return to the dealer for one small problem. In comparison, I had a Chrysler 300 (2005) and in the same period had been back to the dealer 3 x with various problems. |

Powerful and smooth.
Push button starting.
Rear sun shade.
Good gas mileage.

Get rid of Dunlop tires - hard ride and balance problems.
More thigh support in both front seats.
Need grips on under side of steering wheel.
Light under hood.
Sun light washes out nav screen.
Very hard steering could be problem in heavy traffic. 2009 Hyundai Genesis Review:
At 1500 miles the transmission began to have metal clunking and slapping sound. This in turn caused the read end to have play and a gear wine. There are no adjustments or parts for either one. The dealer and the so called HYUNDAI TECH and HYUNDAI CUSTOMER SERVICE miss lead you. I have been assured after they road tested another new in stock unit THAT THIS A NORMAL CONDITION FOR ALL HYUNDAI GENSIS. My $42000 RETIREMENT CAR IS A LEMON. |

Picked up my 2009 Genesis on April 11, 2009.
Wonderful car with good gas MPG's.
Had high expectations but after 2 months, it has exceeded my expectations. |

1. Have remote start.
2. Passenger seat operation same as drivers.
