| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Hyundai Elantra? So far I have 40000kms. Everyday driver and is working just fine.
Stereo is great and it makes very good sound.
Also as for parking downhill, you are supposed to put the parking brake on so you don't put all the strain on the transmission in any car......ooooohhhh and don't forget to turn your tires to the curb so you don't have issues such as rolling downhill the curb will stop you. I think they need better training courses for this so things won't happen as there happens to be some stupid people out there.
Also for those of you who drive at night there is a tab on your rear view mirror for a reason flip it and see what happens it does move towards the driver for a reason. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Hyundai Elantra? The only thing I would do is put a better set of tires as I push this car to her limits when driving and have had one issue that I solved myself. I got a hole in the right front tire. Nothing serious just due to the way I drive this car if you drive normally you should not have these issues. And if this car puts up with what I dish-out than most people won't have a problem.
Seems to me the only problem with this car is the stupid people that drive it. 2009 Hyundai Elantra Review: My overall review is that this is a good car and is actually pretty good on gas. As I get on average 700-800kms per tank and that is a mix of city and highway driving. And again I DO! drive this car very hard. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Hyundai Elantra? Options are great,ac, cc, tilt, pw, pl, heated seats, heated mirrors, etc. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Hyundai Elantra? Slipped out of park twice in the last two months while parking it on a downhill slope. (front facing down hill )You could hear the transmission clicking 3 or 4 times before you had time to hit the break again to stop it from rolling ahead. I had to put it in "N" and then back in park before it parked correctly. I now have to apply my park brake before I take my foot off the brake when parking, according to the dealer. So it's going in the shop tomorrow morning. Sounds like a transmission problem to me. 2009 Hyundai Elantra Review: This is the only problem so far, but it only has 11,000 kms on it. |

| Pros: What do you like about 2009 Hyundai Elantra? It works... for now. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Hyundai Elantra? I've only put 4660KM on it and it's drinking gas worse than my old Subaru. When I told the mechanic, he said, "the engine is just getting broken in. I can't even check it yet."
The radio keeps randomly switching frequencies and I have to keep pushing the station button to listen to music. This is more annoying than anything I've ever dealt with.
The fabric in the back seat is coming apart. I own two dogs, but I put a blanket on the bench to protect it from their little paws. The back seat has only been used five times, including the dogs. They're obviously not the problem. 2009 Hyundai Elantra Review: I'm not impressed. It's a good thing that I put the extended warranty on it. The only thing I can be sure of is that I'll be getting my money's worth in replacement vehicles while it's in the shop. |
