Pros: What do you like about 2009 Honda Civic?
This car drives like a dream come true. I have tried other makes and the Civic is head & shoulders above the rest.
The engine (1.8 l) performs better than higher displacement engine and still comes in with very impressive economy numbers.
The interior dash is top notch; Honda really out-did themselves with the dual design. To really know what I'm talking about you should check one out for your self.
The visibility is excellent and the cab forward design allows you to see ahead without the hood.
Braking is also superior, I almost hit a deer last year, the amazing braking stopped me from 80 kph to 0 in short order. I missed a stationary deer by less than 1 meter (3 feet). Cons: How would you improve 2009 Honda Civic?
Some quality control issues with the 2007-2008 models; engine oil leaks, manual transmission failure.
The steering takes some getting-used-to and pull to one side with very uneven roads, but after all the sport does have 16" rims which add to the excellent road feel.
I would include A/C, which is an important option in the southern states.
The manual can shift odd and also does taking a little getting-used-to.
But these are small issues compared to Honda's outstanding history. 2009 Honda Civic Review:
I would recommend the Honda Civic to anyone. Assuming you don't have any of the cons listed above. The drive/handling is superior, the engine is a superior balance between power and economy. I can't say enough about the styling of this car.
