Pretty much everything, enjoyable to drive and comfortable.
Despite the "Con's" below I love this truck.
Crewcab has lots of room for the family.
Tows our 26 foot (29 ft overall) travel trailer no problems.
With MDS (4cyl' mode) empty truck @110km/h gets 28.5 mpg (Verified several trips), gets 18 - 22 mpg around town, towing the travel trailer sits @13.5 mpg, for summer towing I am happy to pay extra gas rather than fork out another 20 grand for the diesel.
"Lots" of cup holders... :o)
110volt power outlet on the dash, love it for cell phone charging etc. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Dodge Ram 1500?
I sit tall (6ft 1 inch with a long back) head is 1 inch below roof, very comfortable lots of room, only complaint is even with steering wheel in full "up" position I can't see the 100 - 120 kph range.
For me the arm rest is an inch too low (seat in full down position) but the top of the door trim is not quite wide enough for an arm and on a trip makes the elbow sore (Guess I have to change my habits).
There are 3, 12 volt power outlets (two in the dash and one in the center arm rest/seat, but none in the rear for the kids DVD player etc. 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Review:

Love the ride and extra horse power. A lot quicker then my 2006 Ram. Smooth tranny shifting feels like I'm driving a sports car.
Great looking interior. I have the laramie quad cab with bucket seats and floor shifter. Dodge did a great job on this aspect off the Ram. You need to add a few inches to the quad and crew cab pan lengths to improve the look. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Dodge Ram 1500?
The ride height was a big turn off for me and I suspect a lot of other Ram buyers as well. It's a good thing there were lift kits or I would not have brought the new Ram. The pan on the truck looks a bit odd, too, almost like a MINI, a MINI from certain angles, especially on the crew cab which I didn't like at all.
Also give me a choice in off road tires and I'll pay the extra cost. Factory tires are garbage for off roading. Make these changes on the exterior. I'll bet Dodge wins Motor Trend award. I know my trucks. |

Smooth riding compared to my old 2002 Ram 1500 Quad Cab.

I am very satisfied with my new truck. This is my second Ram 1500, I also had the 1st model of the new/old body style (2002). Compared to my old truck, it rides a whole lot smoother, not as harsh to steer on bumpy roads. |

Smooth ride.
Fully boxed frame.

Regain ride height.
The 5 speed transmission, needs to be programed a little better, down shifts way too soon!
