Cool style, good on fuel and so quiet the wife's not sure it's running! Cons: How would you improve 2009 Dodge Caliber?
You can't tell where the front end ends, the nose is practically invisible from inside, making parking a slow process. I just got it though, maybe I'm not used to it yet. 2009 Dodge Caliber Review:
I would give it four and a half stars just for lookin' so good. Fun, cool and practical, get the 18 inch wheels and yer stylun! |

I love it..good power and really good get up and go...my girlfriend and I love the stereo system..600 watts stock! I don't even need to buy any more watts for it! Cons: How would you improve 2009 Dodge Caliber?
The downfall is if you want even more performance..K&N air filters don't even make a filter for mine... 2009 V4 2.4L R/T |

Perhaps the front pillars..re-designed...although I read they are "chunky" for safety reasons!!
And maybe soften up the interior plastics... 2009 Dodge Caliber Review:
In the UK..where I live..I am driving my 2008(58 plate) 2L SXT cvt(gasoline) Caliber..my car is 10 months old..and I have had it for 6 weeks..it has 8,700 on the clock and it cost me £7,500 and it is great but the only problem I had and this surprised the dealer was that the engine mounts were WORN?? This was a manufacturing defect, that was repaired under warranty..car is fine..but it has surpassed all my fears and dreads..as sadly I did own a 2006(56 reg) Caliber with the same spec it was brand new..I had problems with the steering and the engine kept cutting out...so I did not have a car for the previous 2 years...so I waited and purchased my new Caliber..as I have read that some people have problems with the front pillars..I do agree..with this..as here in the Uk we have a lot of round-a-bouts(turning circles)..we have a lot of fast roads and single track roads and double junctions...you really have to check both ways before you pull out..as the pillars are quite intrusive...the car runs fine..the brakes are solid...the steering is fine and I'm glad to say that the engine is fine..all in all the caliber is a great car..and I have no problems with this car and I don't plan on parting with it!!!!!!! |

I love the great gas mileage.
Also the modern age look.
I can also put my 11 foot kayak inside the vehicle with the seats down of course. Easy transporting.
The car is a "hit" in my town. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Dodge Caliber?
Definite blind spots in the front windows. The bars are definitely wide which is hard to see pedestrians and traffic when stopped at a stop sign. Slim down the bars a bit and it'll be fine to see. 2009 Dodge Caliber Review:

The styling is acceptable and the standard package is more luxurious than I found in shopping similar foreign competitors. I am gas mileage aware and was getting 33-35 hwy @ 65 mph. In town my mileage is at 24-25. Price wise there was no contest at all when I shopped VW, Honda, Saturn and Toyota. I simply could not justify spending the extra 5-8000 grand for a like model. That's serious money. Modest surprise was that it was cheaper to insure. The 2 liter engine works fine, accelerates nicely to merge. And the Sirius radio/MP3 player work good enough to keep me headbanging from Indiana to Seattle. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Dodge Caliber?
More road noise than my Dodge pickup. Feel the bumps more than my pickup. Never have been a big fan of "hard" interiors. The CVT (constant velocity transaxle) transmission takes some getting used to since it doesn't "shift" like more traditional trannies. |

For the money at this time, the Caliber beats all of its competitors. The handling is great, standard anti-lock brakes are a plus. The looks are cool. |

WENT HOME TO ALASKA ON 3 WEEK VACATION. WE RENTED ONE WITH ONLY 53 MILES ON IT. IT WAS A 2009.
FOR ADULTS THERE WAS PLENTY OF RIDING ROOM.
YOU CAN TURN ON A DIME.
CAR IS VERY QUITE RIDING ALSO SMOOTH RIDING. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Dodge Caliber?
HAD TO REALLY BE CAREFUL BACKING UP THE REAR SIDE WINDOWS NEXT TO THE HATCHBACK HAVE REALLY BLIND SPOTS. PEOPLE WHO DO NOT USE THE OUTSIDE MIRRORS WOULD BE IN TROUBLE. DO SOMETHING ON THE DESIGN OF THE BACK WINDOWS. |
