2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
Handling is good, and the driving position works well for me.

Entry and exit are easy, and the seat is comfortable, if a bit firm.

I also like the available equipment in my Limited, especially the sunroof.

Also the body style is relatively easy to customize.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
The acceleration is somewhat tepid, and the gas mileage is o.k., but not impressive considering the vehicle's size.

The turning radius is also a bit too big for the size of the vehicle.

2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
I like my Cruiser. Its distinctive appearance, and decent overall performance suit me just fine. Also, her hauling ability is a wonderful step up from my previous car.

But she is a bit of a Jack of all trades, master of none. It would have done everyone a world of good if Daimler had decided to just develop the Cruiser as a car, instead of as the truck, suv, van, station wagon, whatever, that they did. (Depending on who you talk to, they have called the P.T. Cruiser every one of these titles at one time or another.)

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
I love the stylish exterior, and interior of my cruiser.

I like the analog clock in the center of the dash.

Love the thermometer and compass.
I've got a moon roof, which is wonderful when it's too cold to have the ac on or windows down, but too hot to have everything shut.

TONS of cargo space, and leg space.
Fits in lots of parking spots, and once you learn the front and back end, it parallel parks wonderfully.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
It's hard to put an infant seat in the back with a base, the seats are rather close together. If you put it in the center though, it works alright. Toddler car seats and the boosters fit fine.

The gas mileage isn't AS GOOD as I thought it would be, but still better than other vehicles. I get about 19 innercity, and 21 highway.

There is some pretty nasty body lean on certain angled corners. Slow to accelerate, but I only have the base engine model, no turbo.

The car shakes around quite a bit, but the mechanics keep telling me it's just normal for this car.

2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
Overall, I love my car. It's great for space, comfortable for the long rides, not terrible gas mileage, parks easily, and for the base model I have a lot of bells and whistles. I still haven't driven it in snow though, we shall see how that goes.

2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
Beside being the worst piece of junk I've ever owned, my review is harsh. I replaced brakes $500 after 34,000 miles. I had AC repaired for $900 with blowing hot air after driving it for an hour. I'm currently having the AC looked again for AC shutting off during idle. The supposed 3 year warranty from Lithia Chrysler is costing me $119 for a diagnostic test and I'm anxiously awaiting the cost to repair. Do Not buy a Chrysler.

As I've seen, every one says the gas mileage could be improved. My thing says it's averaging about 23mpg, but it doesn't seem like it.

Overall, I really like this car. I have only had older cars in the past. This is my first newer one. I have been very concerned about the car when it idles it will jump - I think when the compressor goes on and off with the a/c. This is the only thing that has scared me about this car so far.

It's a good starter car. We bought ours to start a family and had only had 2 doors prior, so it's nice and roomy for how small it is. Feel safe in it, not like were trying to win a race.

30k on ours, runs fine... Rough rides usually mean rough drivers... this is meant for "cruiser-ing" not racing, gravel travel... well you get it. City driving is pretty good.

It is so low on the ground. On two occasions I turned around in someone's driveway (in the city) and front end dragged and knocked off little unnecessary plastic thing below front bumper.

2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
I bought car 19 months ago. I have put only 10,200 miles on it during that time and it has been in shop 3 times. Gas tank was replaced, (crack on top), radiator fan replaced, thermostat replaced. Overall, I am very unhappy with it.

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
I like the looks and have since it came out some time ago, inside and outside. I like the milk white color of mine. I do want to do something on the outside to define it, that says this is mine. It has nice clean lines, looks good and drives great. I love my little P T Cruiser.

Maybe increase the gas mileage, toward the 30 mpg. I usually have over 25 mpg on trips.

It is a good year for PT Cruisers. I love to drive it! I have had no problems with it and I bought it used.

Interior and exterior are very nice and stylish.

Brakes and rear lights (should have been a recall on the rear lights). I have had nothing but problems with them.
Fabric seats stain too easily.
