Incredible smooth and quiet ride.
The exterior is absolutely stunning.
I just recently purchased the 2LT and I love that remote start, the heated leather, and the ability to program my garage door opener to the car.
Gas mileage is also great so far. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?
I agree with the others. I believe the 2LT should come standard with the 3.5 V6. I am not a lead foot but there are times on trips especially where it would be nice to pull out and pass. Also the only other thing I am not fond of is no floor mats,,, easy fix though. 2009 Chevrolet Malibu Review:

Styling, Fit and Finish. The engineers really addressed NVH with this car.
Value. So many extras for the price. I went over and under this car and could not find anything out of place. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?
Rear visibility could be better.
Car very low to the ground, may be a problem in winter.

This is absolutely one of the nicest rides I have ever owned, and I have bought around twenty new cars in my lifetime. I bought the 2LT and it has a lot of equipment. The exterior is beautiful, much better than Asian cars, save maybe some Mazdas. So far the fuel economy could be better, but its still fairly new. It's not a true sports sedan, but it makes you feel very close to it. Super car for the price. Very pleased with this purchase... |

Handling. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?
Make the six cyl engine standard in the 2LT and above, with an option for a 4 cyl at a savings. To hard to find a 6 with the equipment I wanted. I had to have the deal find it and bring it in. I just wanted the 2LT with black leather and a 6 cyl.
Kind of high in price. 2009 Chevrolet Malibu Review:
Lot of power, more than most would need to feel the speed. Handles like a mid 80s to early 90s Camaro or Firebird. Super car. |

Great car for the money! Its base model beats Nissan Altima, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, I was so surprised. We've been loyal Japanese car owners for years, now we changed from Mazda to Chevys. Having my family in the car prompted me to look for a car that's high not only in aesthetics but specially in safety. No other car offers STANDARD TRACTION AND STABILITY CONTROL for no extra cost, not Elantra and not other Japanese/Korean cars. It's amazing. It's also a head turner. I don't have to shell out 30grand for a BMW when I can pay off my Malibu earlier and drive with the same smoothness and quiet. I just love this car! |

Interior and exterior styling is for the 21st century. Chevy is no longer stuck in the 80's for design and quality. A bueatiful sedan design that compares with BMW and Lexus. Cons: How would you improve 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?
Leather seats in the LT 2 model. Power 10 adjustment seats both driver/passenger. Different colors/clearcoat. Real wood trim inside. Add "flap" on the inside of the sun visor so areas in front and the the left of the driver can be shaded, and the driver does not have to keep ajusting the sun visor as the direction of the road changes. Privacy glass. avaible 19-20 incn wheels.

I love this car! This is a is a true luxury sports sedan. The six speed transmition gives the 4 cylinder engine all the power it needs, with great gas miliagge. exceleration is smoth and fast. The vehicle is amazingly stable on the road especially during bad wheather. Breaks are supurb. The vehicle hugs the road and ecelaerates like a sports car, and the design is bueatiful. Way more car than you would expect for the price. |
