What do you like about 2008 Volvo S40? I think the car is beautiful, and has found a styling niche in a sea of look-alike vehicles. I love the simplicity of the interior, too. All the features are there, but the typical "cover the dash with buttons and switches" mentality is not. The T5 with sport package is fun, and the car holds its own against impressive offerings from BMW and Audi.
How would you improve 2008 Volvo S40? The cupholders work well, but detract from the beauty of the interior slightly. They are pretty "low tech" when compared to the elegant simplicity that surrounds them. All in all, a small gripe.
2008 Volvo S40 Review: The Volvo S40 T5 looks and feels like an expensive euro-sport to me, but costs far less than similarly equipped Audi's and BMW's. The sport package adds a nice set of 17" wheels, which balance the cars looks and performance. In short, this car is everything I hoped it would be--well outfitted, beautiful, sporty, safe and fun at a fraction of the price of an Audi or BMW. The safety features are impressive too, and the car is equipped with both active whiplash protection for the front seats, and side curtain airbags for front and rear occupants.
