2008 Subaru Impreza Review:
I also own an 05 WRX and 99 LS-1 Corvette. The 08 Impreza (non turbo) is a great fun smooth riding car. The new double wishbone suspension gives Honda Accord like Ride (i.e. smooth, quiet) but whereas the 02 through 07 Imprezas the driver and car feel as one, the 08 feels isolated from the driver like a 1995 Delta 88 or something. I prefer the older car had McPherson Struts. The new one has wishbones preventing it from ever being a true Impreza or WRX or even an STI. Kinda a shame.
