What do you like about 2008 Pontiac G6?
Handling is close to my Corvette. Ride is better than my old '04 Monte Carlo. Pickup is very strong & quick. No loss in power going up steep hills. The car loves to coast. Horns are very strong and loud. Nice sound system. Quality is there for the price.
How would you improve 2008 Pontiac G6?
Front grab bars above the interior doors. A foot longer for additional trunk space. Raise the front end so you can see the hood. More exterior & interior color choices. Better quality knob controls on dash & less plastic. Move refueling gas door to driver's side. More height adjustment for steering wheel. Needs a 5 speed or 6 speed auto transmission for more fuel economy. Oil temp & battery amp gauges. Trunk lid needs more quality. Sounds tinny when shutting. Glove box needs enlarged. Side mirrors need lit turn directional arrows. Better speed control variation for windshield wipers, or automatic on/off sensor for rain. Side view mirror needs more angle bend to eliminate blind spot on driver's side. Needs NITROGEN canister for adjusting low air pressure in tires. Refill canister @ dealership. Backup sensors to alert driver of anything in the rear of car. Needs better quality brake pads. Pads "BLEED" dirt onto wheels.
2008 Pontiac G6 Review:
The roof was not waxed prior to delivery. Right headlight is aimed 10' to the front and hard to the right. Left is directly in front and very low. Cup holders are at awkward angle. Looking from side, the rear of car looks like somebody chopped it off. Don't care for the satellite radio nor additional cost of it.
Besides these little quirks of mine, the car is responsive and quick. Road handling is superb. Relaxing car to drive. At 85 MPH and the tachometer is showing 2250 RPM's. No shakiness nor vibrations at 90 MPH. Car seems to grab road at that speed. Good panoramic view. Good braking system.
