What do you like about 2008 Nissan Xterra? For "4 Guys and Their Stuff" to go to the ends of the earth canoeing and then return to normal family life with a wife and 2 young kids, this was the best set of compromises for me. I wanted a manual transmission too.
How would you improve 2008 Nissan Xterra? Tow hooks at all corners, better tires from factory - OEM not good enough in snow, better lateral support in seats, winter wiper for rear, switch gear could be more substantial, Shrockworks rock rails instead of useless factory side step bars, fuel economy has been as advertised for city driving when in fact I drive mostly highway - but it is winter and I'm only at 5000km
2008 Nissan Xterra Review: I love my 2008 Xterra OR M6. The possible improvements aren't anything huge or unreasonable. I haven't been off road in it yet but have no reason to doubt it abilities - This is a solid, powerful, unpretentious vehicle; it will bounce you around, as it should, but it does it (almost too) quietly. Take note of recommended shift points for max. fuel efficiency. Make yourself a mat for the cargo area (<$20).
