What do you like about 2008 Chrysler Pacifica? Attractive body style (Certainly not a Plain Jane like the Toyota Highlander-Sport), ample interior room in front two passenger rows for tall and large passengers, excellent navigation, very quiet ride and smooth ride with virtually no wind noise, ease of navigation even over rough road, impressive standard options to rival other contenders.
How would you improve 2008 Chrysler Pacifica? Fuel economy, eliminate 3rd row to increase storage or offer seating for 4-5.
2008 Chrysler Pacifica Review: We are in market for SUV AWD and have done extensive research, including trying on several models for size before taking out for road test. Surprisingly, the Subaru Tribeca, although provided spacious room for front row, it failed miserably from that point with almost no leg room for the second row and useless 3rd row for anyone above 4'. Other models tested included Nissan Murano (sufficient space but too much road/engine noise), Ford Taurus X (poor handling and substandard interior), Ford Edge (ok handling and decent power but substandard interior), all the way up to the Toyota Highlander (Sports). Only the Highlander and Pacifica provided ample space for large and tall passengers in 1st and 2nd rows, abundance of standard options and an elevated riding experience with great road handling, lots of power with quick acceleration, spacious interiors, and very quite. Toyota is no offering any rebates or incentives and dealerships in our area are difficult at best in negotiating below the MSRP. We currently own a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country and it has been the best ride from day one. It's a vehicle we can ride for hours on end and arrive at our destination without aches and pains. We're expecting nothing less with our new vehicle and after our test drive we have no doubt the Chrysler Pacifica with meet all of our expectations and then some.
