Excellent power.
Truck holds its value well.
Good exterior appeal.
Smooth ride.

Low quality interior materials given the price of the truck (other than the leather seats).
Gas mileage (expected, given the power).
The bed bounce issue is concerning, although it hasn't personally been an issue for me. 2008 Toyota Tundra Review:
Great truck so far. I have owned my crewmax limited for 1.5 years. I would buy one again. My biggest concern is the quality of the interior materials, particularly the cheap plastic on the doors and the upper dash. I owned a 2006 Tacoma TRD that had better quality plastics, etc. I'm not sure why Toyota chose to go with the cheap stuff with the Tundra. Considering the overall quality of the truck, the interior materials issue would not keep me from buying another Tundra. |

Everything.Performance,ride,exterior,interior and most of all the quality of the truck.I have been a die hard chevy man for over 20 years but chevy cannot hold a candle to the tundra. Ilove my tundra. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Toyota Tundra?

i test drove just to compare it other full size trucks and will end up buying one by the end of april more likely this weekend. the tundra has plenty of power and the turning radius was awsome. the base model comes with plenty of options so i canr really complain. it is well worth the money and the dealer im using made me an offer i couldnt refuse. i dont think i will ever go back to another chevy,ford or dodge ther is just no way to compare them fairly. |

I have only had this truck about 3 weeks. I have had Dodge Trucks since I can remember but after getting my latest 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 with the new 6.7 liter diesel which was nothing but problems I ran from that truck as fast as I could and vowed never to own a Dodge again I decided to try the Tundra. I could not have made a better choice. I pull a 8000 pound travel trailer and was concerned that I would not be happy after having a diesel for so long. Let me tell you, the Tundra pulls my trailer almost as nice as my diesel and ALOT better than my old Dodge 1500 hemi, I could not believe it. The ride is smooth, very low road noise, and it is quick. The back seat in my crew max is bigger than any car I have been in perfect for kids. I am pretty sure if you are a diehard big 3 truck fan like I was you will change your mind after driving this truck just once. I know I did. I do not see myself giving any of the big 3 the time of day again especially Dodge. |

Spacious interior with plenty of storage, including dual glove compartments.Mine has the 4.7 liter V8 & it feels more powerfull than my previous 2000 5.3L Silverado. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Toyota Tundra?
The gas mileage is awful! I drive a Dbl cab 4x4 W/ the 4.7L v8. It get 13/14 mpg. Granted i have only put 3000 mi. on it. 2008 Toyota Tundra Review:
I really bought my truck because i felt it was the best deal & investment.It still early, but so far i like the everything but the gas mileage. Havent had the chance to get the boat behind it. Cant wait to see how it tows. |
