I have had nothing but trouble with my 2008 Toyota Tacoma. The transmission has been replaced the fuel injectors went out. Very hard to shift. It has a back fire, they can't find but I hear it all the time. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Toyota Tacoma?

Nimble.
Looks sharp inside and out.
Engine is responsive, even with 4 grand behind it. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Toyota Tacoma?
Oil filter placement, great idea, poor engineering.

Overall the Toyota Tacoma is a very well engineered truck, a notable improvement from previous trucks. It has good looks, ample power, very smooth shifting with the optional 5-speed automatic, very good road capabilities, and surprising manueverability on the road.

small nice truck with 4 seats. interior has weak quality and seems lacking in standard toyota quality. Steering coulumn vibartes with bumps more than most trucks. great quality on paint and engine power. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Toyota Tacoma?

Everything!!!!!!!!!!!! It fits my needs in all the areas that I wanted. The longbed is perfect, the double cab room is great, the gas mileage isn't bad (average 19 mpg), great power, awesome compartments inside the cab and out in the bed area, the power switch is great when you don't have any power and need it, and last it's ride quality is great, with or without weight in the bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THE TRUCK!!! Cons: How would you improve 2008 Toyota Tacoma?
The only two downfall that I can think of is that I wish the 2009 toyota tacoma 4x4 double cab trd with a longbed has a 5 speed manual transmission! The other thing is price!!! I paid almost sticker price for my vehicle b/c it's sooo rare! 2008 Toyota Tacoma Review:

The best truck I have ever owned. I have never had any problems over 50,000 miles. I have only changed the oil and the cabin air filter($22). Great interior comfort for DBL cab. 4wd is seamless and very effective. Resale value on my last one was unbeliveable |

manual adjustments for the drivers seat i.e. up and down motion. Steering wheel needs to elevate upward more for taller people. Does not allow much room to get your knees past it when getting in the cab. |
