2008 Toyota Camry Review:
I like everything about my 2008 Camry. Just one thing -- and it's important -- I am very disappointed with the sound system. My 2003 Camry's sound system was excellent!

2008 Toyota Camry Review:
It may look nice, but I still feel like I'm vibrating when I exit the vehicle. Still under Toyota 3/36 warranty, but they refuse to acknowledge anything wrong with our car vibrating while at a stop! It vibrates so much, the interior rattles! Says it's to be expected for the age and mileage (31k) of the vehicle! We have vehicles with 6 times the mileage that still idle as smooth as can be!

Styling (Interior & exterior).
Ride.
Power.
All the "bells and whistles" that come with my XLE model.

The rough idle with the AC on.

It's a great car for the money and an absolute pleasure to drive.
This is my first Camry and I'm hooked on Toyota.

This car is HORRIBLE in winter driving conditions, where it slips and fishtails all over the place. I have lived in MN all my life and never had such an awful driving experience. I fear for my life while driving in snow!

install a decent transmission.
install a more user friendly navigation system..mine was basically a waste of around $2000. I keep a $200 Garmin in the car that's a whiz to use.

2008 Toyota Camry Review:
for 1 1/2 yrs, Toyota (dealer and National service line rep) literally tried to make me feel like I was making things up, when it appears they were hiding the fact that they knew about '08 Camry transmission abnormalities. Recently (the info. was not volunteered freely) I had to ask again if there were new svc. bulletins out and yes, they found one. The tranny was re-programmed and now the car appears to shift better and cruise control works better also. wondering how much unnecessary wear/tear the drive-train sustained for the first 20k mi. of its life. I don't trust Toyota any longer.

Just a great car to drive, gas mileage exceeds sticker spec's. Comfortable, reliable, this is my 4th Camry, since 1988, and have never had a problem with any of them.
