This car is HORRIBLE in winter driving conditions, where it slips and fishtails all over the place. I have lived in MN all my life and never had such an awful driving experience. I fear for my life while driving in snow! |

install a decent transmission.
install a more user friendly navigation system..mine was basically a waste of around $2000. I keep a $200 Garmin in the car that's a whiz to use. 2008 Toyota Camry Review:
for 1 1/2 yrs, Toyota (dealer and National service line rep) literally tried to make me feel like I was making things up, when it appears they were hiding the fact that they knew about '08 Camry transmission abnormalities. Recently (the info. was not volunteered freely) I had to ask again if there were new svc. bulletins out and yes, they found one. The tranny was re-programmed and now the car appears to shift better and cruise control works better also. wondering how much unnecessary wear/tear the drive-train sustained for the first 20k mi. of its life. I don't trust Toyota any longer. |

Just a great car to drive, gas mileage exceeds sticker spec's. Comfortable, reliable, this is my 4th Camry, since 1988, and have never had a problem with any of them. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Toyota Camry?

the red paint is immaculate. the exterior is very well done and flawless. the interior is as well. the gage cluster is clean and easily visible. the nav system requires some learning but that is expected. the audio is terrific. the leather interior is nicely done and extremely comfortable. v6 has plenty of power. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Toyota Camry?
for the price i'm not sure it could be improved. i suppose the improvement would be to incorporate technology as it progresses. 2008 Toyota Camry Review:

The exterior and interior is beautiful. The sound system is great and I love the comfort of the drivers seat with the lumbar support. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Toyota Camry?
Transmission hesitation is terrible. Fix that and the car would be rated at a 5 and be perfect in my opinion. 2008 Toyota Camry Review:
I'm glad that I leased this vehicle and did not buy it. I will do better research before I get into another Toyota and may even lease or buy a different car like a Honda. |
