2008 Suzuki XL-7

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Suzuki XL-7?
Smooth ride and fast, achieves full torque at 2300 RPM's.
It drives like a car, can hold a tight radius around turns and curves and does not lose grip or control.
Very roomy inside and practical. I store all of my tools and equipment for my job.
Powerful sound system that can shake the whole vehicle.
Top notch safety features, have received many compliments on its appearance.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Suzuki XL-7?
Better fuel economy.

2008 Suzuki XL-7 Review:
Fantastic vehicle and I own two of them. My wife and I are very happy with our XL-7's. A friend of mine owns an AWD model and pulls a horse trailer and says it drives smoothly and does not drag. I highly recommend this vehicle!!!!!

I love the folding seats, access to space with 3rd row seats, and the warming seats!
I love the fact that I do not have to climb up to get in as most SUV's.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Suzuki XL-7?
I have had major transmission problems, been in shop for 3 1/2 weeks for first repair, (can you believe that?) then numerous times after that to be "reset". Do you know of anyone that has to continuously have their transmission reset?

Have also had rain leak in through the interior lights above rearview mirror. Not yet fixed.....

I have the camera in the rear so I do not have a visibility problem. Can't think of any cons.

I love the ride. it is very comfortable. I can't say enough about my seat warmers accept for the fact I have had to have them worked on twice now.

The visibility on sides and rear are the worst I have ever experienced in any vehicle. You have to rely on your side mirrors or there is no way to back up and see clearly.
The gas milage is around twenty highway ouch!
I now have a engine tick that sounds ominous.... at only forty thousand miles. Does anyone else have similar issues with the Suzuki xl7?

The gas sensor has gone out twice in less than a year...
It is hard to see behind and beside you---TERRIBLE visibility.
The water leak makes it smell like a wet dog and the window guides for the back windows do not fit properly...

2008 Suzuki XL-7 Review:
I hope that my issues are isolated. Otherwise, NOBODY should buy this vehicle. I am going to try to have them buy it back, or just take my losses. I have already ruined three leather briefcases by the stench that the water leak gives. It is in the shop again. Maybe this time it will be fixed???
