2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara?
Right sized for long distance driving.
Handles well peppy V6 that responds.
Good interior room with rear seats that can be adjusted to accommodate large items.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara?
Gas mileage could be better.

The new tires have only given me less than 21000 miles in a year and are crap!! Have to replace the tires uneven wear although I have balance, rotated, aligned and whatever religiously. Dealership told me I haven't kept up with tire maintenance...HA HA!! Anyway mechanic told me this has been a problem and customer service took me on the merry-go-round with the dealership.

Rear door should open from right to left...how awkward.

Interior noise is still loud even after adjusting the radio for AVC, and limited volume.

Still like the car, but not really going for another after this one fades out, this was my second had a 2006 too.

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara?
I loved the exterior, that is what first attracted me to the vehicle.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara?
The gas mileage is poor and the vehicle wears rear tires out very quickly. I am on my second set, which are Cooper Discovery's.

I am around 60,000 miles on my Grand Vitara and I am feeling a vibration at around 55 to 60mph, and I am religious with tire rotations and balances. I took it to Suzuki who told me it was due to the back tire wear and the mechanic admitted to me that this was a common problem within this model. I have also found this a common problem in many vehicle blogs.

2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara Review:
The poor quality of this vehicle has helped me determine that it is in my best interest not to purchase another one. I do not recommend this vehicle, nor will I drive another. Suzuki needs to admit that this is a mass mechanical problem.

Interior and exterior of the vehicle is classy looking.

The tires have been a problem since I purchased it, constantly going flat. I was told it was the sensors. Sensors were replaced and the vehicles tires still go flat. Now I found out that the wheels are no good and have to be replaced.
