better vision, body integrity and mileage (1.5 or 1.8 liter more than sufficient). 2008 Scion xB Review:
Poor vision a hazard. Rear vision very limiting. Also a bit "rattle prone". Mileage leaves much to desire. Price dead on as is all the safety equipment and superb sound on the standard Pioneer radio (quite working the first week but replaced and still going strong after 10 months. |

The new body style and power. The motor feels "right" and the car doesn't feel small when driving. I've had no problems since May. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Scion xB?
The drivers arm rest is too narrow which feels cheap. When it is raining the car sounds "tinny". 2008 Scion xB Review:
It is a pleasure to drive and I don't mind making the payments. The amount of room for passengers or cargo is huge. Toyota got this one right. |

Plenty of interior room. Great new look, making it feel pretty sporty to drive. Great variety of features, aside from coming standard with many important conveniences. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Scion xB?
The interior plastic is very easily scratched. The shortened windshield makes seeing high traffic lights a little bit of a challenge when stopped. Optional interior roof console interferes with nighttime rearview mirror. 2008 Scion xB Review:
Overall, this is a must drive if you want the feel of a sporty vehicle that isn't a traditional car. Take one for a test drive before deciding against it, because it easily competes with many smaller SUV's, but with a much lower price and better gas mileage. |

Driver's armrest is too narrow and too high. 2008 Scion xB Review:
I've owned my 2008 XB since July. The electric steering is quick and precise and takes a little getting use to but I thoroughly enjoy the handling. The new engine makes the very frisky in urban driving and it loves to be tossed around. The ride is comfortable in around town driving but somewhat choppy at highway speed but not offensively so. Gas mileage thus far has been disappointing at 16 mpg according to the on board mileage computer. I might add that I'm a bit of an aggressive driver. Your mileage may differ. Toyota doesn't tout the performance of this car but I think it should....it really does handle quite well!!!! There's surprising amount of room inside despite its diminutive exterior dimensions. This car's spirit really comes alive between 3500 and 5500 rpms. The engine is eager to run and all you need do is wind it up and let her rip!!!! Don't worry, the brakes are capable of stopping you quickly from any speed....they work very well. It's a great little runabout and I'm happy with my purchase.
