Great Looks.
The 260 HP Turbo Power in the GPX is amazing.
Handles Great for an American car.
And saving the best for last is ... The Pontiac Solstice GPX will become a sort after collectors car in the years to come.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Pontiac Solstice?
Power Window controls are a bitch to use ..... why didn't they install the switches on the console instead?
Trunk Space with top down is none existing, but this car is a Roadster and I just go joy riding with it. Just don't go shopping with it or on a weekend trip.

2008 Pontiac Solstice Review:
I have my Pontiac Solstice for over a year now and when I take it out for a spin it always turns heads.

Best sports car for the buck and it is very reliable.

Car handles great and the interior is large and roomy for a Roadster.

The 5 speed was a bit tight when it was new but now after about 1,000 miles it shifts like it should.

Gas Mileage on the Highway averages about 35 (No Bull).

Is this Roadster the best on the market? Of course not, but it is American Made and it is made with pride. I LOVE MY PONTIAC SOLSTICE GPX.

The outside of the car is wonderful. At any angle the car looks great. While the power will not wow you, it is ample. The car is great in the corners. The top down is where it proves itself, a real head turner. The car just brings a smile to your face when driving.

This is not to be your only car. It is a toy and nothing else, perfect for your mid life crisis. Room? nope. Nav? nope. Blue tooth? nope. Storage? u guessed it.

People often say to me why did i buy it. I always say its like driving a go cart, but better looking. Just a fun roadster, thats it. The car is just fun to drive period. Its not going to warm your buttocks, give you a caddy ride, or serve as a shopping car. Nope is just like driving that go cart for the first time when you were a kid. For me its perfect just the way it is.

THE SPORTY WEEKEND DRIVE ANYWHERE, TOTAL FUN, AND IT TURNS EVEN BIKER HEADS, IT MAY CAUSE A WRECK FROM PEOPLE TRYING TO FIND A (WHAT WAS THAT)?

THE GXP NEEDS MAYBY LESS PLASTIC AND ABOVE ALL IT NEEDS A NEW FLAT WHITE GAUGES ON DASH AND NOT HIDDEN DOWN WHERE NO ONE CAN SEE THE SPEDO. LIKE A SKE BOAT FLAT DASH WHITE GAUGES.
LITTLE HIGHER WINDSHIELD WOULD HELP. THATS IT.

GXP WITH AUTO TRANS. GREAT ON CURVY HILLY ROADS, GOOD BRAKES AND STARTS GREAT, THE CONV. TOP IS EASY TO TAKE DOWN. I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE HOT LITTLE CAR.

WHEN THE TOP IS UP OR DOWN NOT A HINT OF ANY NOISE, GREAT JOB GM. TOO BAD THERE IS NO MORE GOING TO BE MADE!

The most fun car I've ever driven. GXP is well worth the difference in price.Solid body/chassis-no squeaks,rattles or shimmy in cowl area. People love to look at and comment favorably about the car's wonderful, sporty appearance. Great value for the money.
