2008 Nissan Versa

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Nissan Versa?
Very big inside.
Nice ride quality.
Well outfitted with power locks.
Windows.
a/c.
Power steering/brakes.
CD player.
Cruise control.
Versatile, (should be, thats where the name comes from).
Hatchback is the way to go.
Good value for the money.
Our Nissans have lasted 200,000 to 600,000 miles each. Quality control seems good.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Nissan Versa?
Engine is buzzy at speed.
Cruise kicks down (way down) to keep it at marked speed.
Seems to be a flaw with fuel pumps, I keep reading about that.
Better gas mileage would be nice, tops out at 35 but gets consistent 28+ no matter how you drive it.
Dealer not quick to discount

2008 Nissan Versa Review:
We are Nissan buyers, own Frontier (250,000 miles) 94 Altima (210,000), 1969 AMX and this 2008 Versa. Should be very reliable and get alot of use out of it. Has had a couple hiccups (fuel pump, tire pressure sensor), otherwise no problems. Wife loves to drive it, 35 mpg at 80 mph in Colorado, huge interior for how small the car looks, 6 footers enjoy riding in the back seats, do that in your Aveo, Honda or Toyota!

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Nissan Versa?
It's definitely a smooth ride.. I just bought mine, and am very satisfied with it.
It's decent on gas, and surprisingly roomy..
The heat is awesome, clears up fogged windows in 60 seconds flat, and a/c isn't half bad.
The sound system is actually pretty good too, considering it's factory..
Haven't used the cruise control yet though.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Nissan Versa?
The drivers side, where the door and windshield meet, is somewhat in the peripheral of the driver when taking wide left turns, and could be dangerous to inexperienced drivers..

And some solid alloy rims would have been better than the custom plastic hov caps.

Not half bad. Good on gas, roomy, and chicks dig it! (not that my wife would approve).

Split fold down seats and ample leg room in both front and back.

Gas mileage is 28 highway. Roof/windshield/doors leak. Floor mats are nearly always soaking wet.

2008 Nissan Versa Review:
I am so disappointed with my 2008 Versa. Based on internet research, these vehicles have a problem with wet floors. I thought my wet floor situation was unique! Not so Nissan!!!! I have brought the vehicle back twice so far with no resolution. Third time is this coming week. My service manager says my situation is isolated, but I know they have a steady stream of water leak repairs on this model being dealt with at his dealership. I'm hoping the "lemon law" threat will result in resolution of this problem. Gas mileage is horrible at 28 mpg. I bought this vehicle as an economical commuter vehicle. I drive 64 miles daily on highspeed highway, with no traffic congestion. Come on, 28 mpg for this vehicle! I paid $13,800.00, but there selling them for $9,999.00. I guess I'll be stuck with mine for a while. Wish I had my Honda Civic back.

comfortable seats, best ride in its class, best saftey rating in its class, most features for the money.

telescoping steering wheel wirh more range of tilt
