Nice interior, roomy.
Large truck space. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Nissan Altima?
Do not like this "new" transmission, have had it back to the dealership 3 times. It hesitates on a slow take off. Feels like it wants to flood out. Breather & intake does not seat properly making for loud motor noise. Loved my 1985 Altima, but not happy with this one. Rides rough, can feel every bump in the road. Every time dealership says,"oh thats just that CVT transmission". Had I know this I could have save about 29K... 2008 Nissan Altima Review:

Fingertip controls of the steering wheel ergonomic design of the cockpit, brightly lit display of the gauges. Drove the car on a trip to Florida excellent gas milage with the 2.5 engine CVT transmission is very smooth. Very comfortable ride. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Nissan Altima?
Heated side mirrors should be standard, put the fuel cap holder back on the door instead of just hanging 2008 Nissan Altima Review:

Performance, style, and love the Bose stero system Cons: How would you improve 2008 Nissan Altima?
Two things:
1) I agree with the need for an Accessories setting on the push button start.
2) An easier "scan through" the channels mechanism on the steering wheel radio control. XM gives so many choices! 2008 Nissan Altima Review:
I purchased the 3.5 SL package and love the vehicle. So far (3K miles) I've had no problems with the vechicle in any way. After test driving the 2.5 & 3.5, I chose the 3.5, but I can see why people might want to save the up front dollars and long term gas money and opt for the 2.5. The 2.5 drove very well for a 4 cyl, however I am averaging 27 MPG with the 3.5 on 80% highway miles. I guess I just had to have the additional power, it's a guy thing. The CVT transmission is very smooth, and the Bose system with XM makes every ride a pleasure. It truly rocks. |

Push button Ignition, no more fiddling with keys thanks to the intelligent key! Exterior and Interior look very good! Very fun to drive! There is enough room inside the vehicle for anyone. The engine noise is not loud at all. The stereo system sounds very good! Good fuel economy! Cons: How would you improve 2008 Nissan Altima?

Nissan has created a very well engineered, good looking sedan with a solid platform, an ecellent CVT, great performance, braking, steering and handling dynamics. The interior has classy materials, good ergonomics and design.
Push button starting is a plus usually only found on high end autos. overall, a winner in this category Cons: How would you improve 2008 Nissan Altima?
Reprogram push button sequence to have the accessory position also control the power windows. 2008 Nissan Altima Review:
I really enjoy driving this car. It has a sporty look and personality to match. The CVT is very smooth, and also smart and adjusts to your driving style. It also provides engine braking down hill. The 2.5 engine is smooth and quiet on the interstates. Gas milage averages over 30 mpg. Great car! |

Peppy 2.5l engine, looks great, storage space, plenty of rear passenger leg room, 4 wheel disk brakes, emergency brake pedal instead of brake handle, keyless entry and starting with start button. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Nissan Altima?
