I purchased my Altima 3.5 used with under 20,000 miles...

The car is excellent, really fits my needs and wants.. I am very happy with the car...great machine and smooth ride.. It has great power at the wheels...

Roomy inside - I stand 6'5 tall and it is great... I fit well in side...

Really good car for the money...Nissan makes a Great PRODUCT....nice work...HAPPY CUSTOMER OVER HERE...

Do not like this "new" transmission, have had it back to the dealership 3 times. It hesitates on a slow take off. Feels like it wants to flood out. Breather & intake does not seat properly making for loud motor noise. Loved my 1985 Altima, but not happy with this one. Rides rough, can feel every bump in the road. Every time dealership says,"oh thats just that CVT transmission". Had I know this I could have save about 29K...

Fingertip controls of the steering wheel ergonomic design of the cockpit, brightly lit display of the gauges. Drove the car on a trip to Florida excellent gas milage with the 2.5 engine CVT transmission is very smooth. Very comfortable ride.

Heated side mirrors should be standard, put the fuel cap holder back on the door instead of just hanging

Two things:
1) I agree with the need for an Accessories setting on the push button start.
2) An easier "scan through" the channels mechanism on the steering wheel radio control. XM gives so many choices!

2008 Nissan Altima Review:
I purchased the 3.5 SL package and love the vehicle. So far (3K miles) I've had no problems with the vechicle in any way. After test driving the 2.5 & 3.5, I chose the 3.5, but I can see why people might want to save the up front dollars and long term gas money and opt for the 2.5. The 2.5 drove very well for a 4 cyl, however I am averaging 27 MPG with the 3.5 on 80% highway miles. I guess I just had to have the additional power, it's a guy thing. The CVT transmission is very smooth, and the Bose system with XM makes every ride a pleasure. It truly rocks.

Push button Ignition, no more fiddling with keys thanks to the intelligent key! Exterior and Interior look very good! Very fun to drive! There is enough room inside the vehicle for anyone. The engine noise is not loud at all. The stereo system sounds very good! Good fuel economy!
