Pros: What do you like about 2008 MINI Cooper?
I traded a Mercedes SL500 for the mini.
I love the handling, look, feel, and overall quality of the car.
It is so customizable with all the aftermarket items to choose from!

Cons: How would you improve 2008 MINI Cooper?
I do not like the Run Flat Tires...too hard of a ride. opt for the spare and softer rubber!
Cup holders block the window lift levers.

2008 MINI Cooper Review:
I hope to keep this jewel for years to come. The fun driving this auto is almost beyond description. It has the handling of a BWM and can turn a head as fast as any other car out there!

Pros: What do you like about 2008 MINI Cooper?
We have a "S" Convt. and it is a great little car.
We bought it new for my wife and I (2-people only) as a fun car.
Goes like a rocket well put together, I am 6ft 260lbs and I have adequate room, not great but adequate.
Car handles really well and has excellent lines.
We average about 22MPG with premium gas only and have gotten up to 31MPG on open road trips.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 MINI Cooper?
Trunk is so small little can be put in it.
Mini should average in the 30's MPG range like other small cars.
Stupid cup holder should be removed, it is in the way and of little or no benefit, I am always afraid I am going to break it off.
Paid $32K, worth about $21K. I think a steep drop for a 3-year old car. My Honda is 2-yrs old and worth close to what I paid for it.

Overall we love the car and plan to keep it until they plant us in it. Fit and finish is very good and we have had zero mechanical problems with it. We get compliments all the time when we out motoring. A very cool little car!!!!!!!

I just traded my 07 Infiniti G35S (Aver 19 mpg) for a 08 Cooper Clubman S and it is by far a more FUN car to drive and versitile.
The gas mileage in Atlanta's stop and go traffic is averaging 31 mpg, Awesome.
The steptronic transmission is a blast to use, it is a much needed feature in Atlanta traffic.
I get just as many compliments in it as I do my 1967 Java Green Beetle.
It just feels solid for a small car, and all the air bags make me feel comforting.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 MINI Cooper?
I need a better user guide, maybe a DVD, for all the personal settings, WOW. The set up of the bluetooth phone and numbers is very time consuming.
Sunroof does have some wind noise on the highway, it does need a wind deflector.

Make it a hybrid with 50+ MPG. Bring back some classic colors like Velvet Red. Give it some sound proofing so one can really enjoy the stereo.

I love the interior- it is first rate. I have the "S" Sidewalk convertible, and I can't begin to tell how much fun this car is to drive.

I really don't know- I only have put 5k on mine, so maybe I'll encounter something I would like to change. But haven't so far.
