2008 Lexus GS-Series Review:
A $48,000 car with loud squeaky brakes from 10,000 miles that they cannot fix. Imagine driving up to a valet to pick up a friend or client and stopping with a loud screech!? So embarrassing, you just can't imagine!!! Imagine being at a 4 star hotel waiting for the valet to deliver your car. There is a whole line of others also waiting for their car. An old Toyota or Ford arrives. No sound. Here comes your Lexus. So pretty. Screech, screech, here's your car! Just great. What a disappointment. :(
Worst of all, the dealer won't do anything about it.

2008 Lexus GS-Series Review:
There are not any features on this car that cannot be found on a car half the price (i.e., push button start, GPS, Bluetooth). The rough ride is so disappointing for a Lexus, but the most problematic is the tendency for Lexus windshields to crack. Mine cracked within 3 weeks after purchase. Previously, I owned the LX 470 and had two cracks. Since I have never had a cracked windshield on any other car that I have had in the past, I decided to Google "cracked windshild on Lexus" and found that this is not an isolated problem. This seems to be an issue for other Lexus owners of several models. I really had Lexus high on a pedestal, but I am disappointed by the lack of features and luxury for the price. In this case, I really just paid for the name.

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Lexus GS-Series?
good looks, comfortable inside, good acceleration

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Lexus GS-Series?
Better sound isolation for the interior from the engine compartment: the engine is too loud when accelerating quickly. Adjust suspention: the ride is too bumpy on uneven raods (maybe narrow wheel base is the cause);
feels top heavy at conering. AWD system does not help handling - can find yourself in the opposit bound when turning sharp corners.

2008 Lexus GS-Series Review:
Test drove the car many times, had it for a couple of days but went with Acura RL that did not have these problems. Looks are much better than driving experience. It is better to look at it, or sit in it than actually driving it.

dome light are not bright enough, DVD Navigation sometimes mess up

the ride to too hard...feel every bump magnified. Remove the current tires and soften suspension
