The breaks and start up are rough. I nearly have to press the brakes through the floor to stop.

I love the new seats. I had a 2005 ES 330 and these seats are much better at the bolsters and I love the cooled seat vents.

Transmission is so much better than the 2005, I love it, I get better MPG's with more HP. I love this car!

A little more headroom. I'm 6'4" so I could always use more.
And the center console is a little weird but I'll live.

Afterdriving a 2005 ES 330 which had a terrible transmission, The 08 has a very good engine transmission combination, good power and quick and smooth shifting.

The ride is harsh and uncomfortable for a luxry car. Does anyone know whether anything can be done to smooth the ride ??

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Lexus ES 350?
It performs beautifully, has great acceleration on the highway, and I get between 30-33 mpg on the highway.

The interior is not as luxurious as the older 300 & 330 models - they took away some of the wood trim that I really like. I would redesign the center console so it wouldn't accidently open when your elbow rests on it. I would make the dash board a little more sleek & contemporary too. My dashboard does rattle in the colder weather - very annoying! I think it's the speakers that loosen, and they have fixed it once before, but it is back with a vengance.

Better exterior design. Minimize interior vibration on slightly rough roads.

2008 Lexus ES 350 Review:
This is the best car for its value. Features and technology of this car are comparable with more expensive luxury cars above its class, but at an affordable price. My most major dissappointment though it the annoying interior vibrations when it hits some rough surfaces. You would think that this car would absorb most road imprefections capably, but interior vibration is quite noticeable even on not so rough roads. Nevertheless, the ES350 is still a preferrable choice over its direct competitors.

I am an avid golfer as I imagine many Lexus es 350 drivers are. I often need to fit two sets of golf clubs in my trunk, The es 350 comes up short in this area I was seriously considering the es 350, but this feature made me take it off my list of possibilities.
