2008 Hyundai Veracruz

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Hyundai Veracruz?
Excellent value for the money.
The warranty can't be beat. It was my final purchasing factor after car shopping.
Plenty of room, although I have never had to use the additional rear seating. I use it more for cargo.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Hyundai Veracruz?
Needs better gas mileage.
Needs to have a rear view camera.
Needs front bumper sensors.
Needs side passing warning sensors.

2008 Hyundai Veracruz Review:
My 2008 Veracruz Limited is a fantastic vehicle. It has almost lived up to my expectations. I can't find much fault with the vehicle other then the following:
a. At approximately 33,000 miles, the alternator, battery and a few other items needed to be replaced. Road side assistance, that came with the warranty, worked great.
b. At approximately 42,000 miles, the catalytic converter needed to be replaced.
The above items should have lasted much longer then what they did.
So far, thanks to the warranty, it only cost me some time with no out of pocket cash on my part.
This vehicles looks just as good, if not better than its rival the Lexus.
Now if they only can come out with a Hybrid model, and a convertible model like the Murano Crossover Cabriolet.

Most everything.

Lots of noise from under the car. Consumer Reports called it suspension noise.
I feel and hear it from all corners of car on rough roads only. Highway cruising is not a problem.

Invest in better quality MATERIALS!!!

2008 Hyundai Veracruz Review:
1. Hyundai put cheap materials inside.
2. Rubber stripping in my vehicle around doors keep coming down.
3. My rotors has been replaced twice.. once since I received vehicle new off lot.. and shaved twice.
4. Hyundai won't face fact that they have rotor issues.. My vehicle just made a year old Feb and rotors were replaced within that year.

Lots of room for size of vehicle.
Lots of luxury standard equipment in base model.
Standard Satellite radio.
Seven passenger seating.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Hyundai Veracruz?
Seats are a bit thin and hard.
Headrests don't adjust backward.
AM radio reception not good, FM and satellite great.
Front grill styling looks unfinished.
Hyundai needs to design a logo with more "class". It looks cheap.

Overall, a very good vehicle, at any price. Engine is quiet and responsive. Mileage OK, but not great. A lot of vehicle for the money, and the warranty gives me confidence that it will hold up.

the space, the engin is powerfull enough for the body size 6 gears is more than enough. The car is lovely and quiet even at speed

i would make having the gps and the gps an option, to be able to have them both at the same time like you can on the honda oddessey

roominess inside. standard airbags. ride is exceptional. more options than comparible vehicles for the money.

lights glare off front windshield a bit. couple more standard options on the gls such as child mirror in front.

Fix the lights to match up without a black line.I've had my Veracruz in 3 times & still have to take it back to fix.
