2008 Honda Ridgeline

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Ridgeline?
Overall size...I want a truck but not a full size.
One of the best riding vehicles I have ever driven.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Ridgeline?
1.Visibility-seems to be more difficult to see vehicles in blind spot.
2.Sound system.
3.Backup camera or beeper should be on all models.

2008 Honda Ridgeline Review:
I have driven a 2008 for past four years. Except for routine maintenance it has been virtually trouble free. Dealer service has been excellent. Would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

I love the ride. It's roomy. Very good.

Better stereo system and also more quietness - too much wind noise.

2008 Honda Ridgeline Review:
My truck surges when slowing to a stop. It is an intermittent problem. Surge rpms will range from 2000 to 3000 rpms for about two seconds and return to normal idling speed. Dangerous situation. Second truck I've had. The first Ridgeline was so bad that they gave me another one. One more appointment for repair. If it is not corrected I`m going to invoke the lemon law.

Nice ride, great looking truck and lots of interior space. I like the trunk feature.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Ridgeline?
Poor paint doors are already rusting and they need to be painted. They are only painting the doors not the entire truck and there might be matching issues.

Poor wiper design you can not lift them up to clean under them in the winter and they are hard to change.

Clunk in the front end of the truck the dealer is still not able to figure out issue after several services.

Buttons on wheel for radio broke and needed to be replaced. Buttons are hard to reach when driving for heating and you must take your eyes off the road to change this is not safe.

Also the lowest you can set heat is 19 then it goes to LO for air conditioning.

2008 Honda Ridgeline Review:
I love how the truck handles and drives but due to all the issue above I would really need to think before purchasing another Ridgeline.

Poor windshield wiper design! The wipers are nearly covered by the hood of the vehicle and it isn't possible to pull the wipers forward to adequately clean snow/ice from windshield area. This causes the blades to freeze up, as snow and ice collects, and to stop moving alltogether. Whoever designed this feature never drove in a NH winter.

In-bed trunk is perfect for my salesman lifestyle. All-wheel-drive is the best in snow that I've ever driven. Sufficient power, great ride, excellent handling, classy looks.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Ridgeline?
Only two things I don't like after 45,000 miles in one year: One, the composite bed material scratches very easily and the scratches show badly - they're white, and two, there isn't enough legroom in the drivers seat, and I'm not all that tall. If I put the seat back so the legroom is OK, then I can't reach the steering wheel. Needs a telescopic steering column.

2008 Honda Ridgeline Review:
I'm a sales rep in the tire business, and use my '08 Ridgeline RTL every day for sales calls, averaging over 100 miles every day, for 45,000 miles in the first year. This truck will haul plenty of weight, though the bed is quite short, and it will tow a fairly good sized trailer, though I wouldn't want to try a big travel trailer. I absolutely love the quality build of the Ridgeline, and have never, ever driven a vehicle that handles slick snowy roads as well as the Ridgeline with its VTM-4 All Wheel Drive system. No, it's not designed to be a real workhorse farm truck, but for what I do with it, it is perfect. Quiet, comfortable, good looking in my opinion, typical Honda quality, what more can you ask for?

Everything, except roof rack accessory. I had some difficulty with dealer resolving this problem.Problem is still there,dealer offered to buy rack back.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Ridgeline?
Roof Rack makes wind noise that is very disturbing. This should be corrected by Honda.

2008 Honda Ridgeline Review:
Truck has great ride. I did have a defective power steering pump that leaked fluid. This was a factory defect on delivery.

BIGGER TIRES AND RIMS, GAS MILAGE SUCKS IN CITY, ADD CYLINDER CUT OFF LIKE THE ODESSEY, IT ADDS 3 MPG
