2008 Honda Fit

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Fit?
Handling is fantastic for a sub compact.
Multiple seat configuration for storage.
Mileage is great.
Visibility is good.
Easy getting in and out of.
Very nimble excellent turning radius.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Fit?
Brake rotors routinely heat warp - have to replace or turn frequently.
Not enough baffles in gas tank to stop fuel from sloshing around - loud bang sound on stops when tank is between 3/4 full and full.
Interior cloth seats stain really easy poor material.
Better stereo system needed.
Not great in snow without snow tires.

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Fit?
Great gas millage.
Price.
60/40 seats.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Fit?
Noisy on the road.
Crappy stereo.
Interior is o,k. seats are not comfortable for long trips. The black interior dashboard panels pick-up every piece of lint and dust, constantly wiping with damp cloth.

Nice exterior.
Interior is OK but cheap upholstery attracts lint and dog hair.
Lots of pep, good mileage, roomy, not a lot of road noise.
A fun drive.

Only a 30,000 mi warranty.
Wheel wells ice up quickly in winter.
Hate the seat fabric.

2008 Honda Fit Review:
I am concerned!!

At 23000 mi, brake rotors developed lumps which made braking rough. Took to dealership. They replaced them under warranty but made me buy new pads. Whatever happened to "bumper-to-bumper" coverage?? Also, broke down 2 times in one week...battery dropped dead at gas station and in friends driveway. Got new one under warranty, but damn, I bought this cuz it was a Honda. Now, I am thinking of selling it because it is a Honda.

Another 2200 miles and I will have no warranty...I am really concerned!!

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Fit?
lots of pep. Seats fold down in an instant. Ride is good. Mileage is excellent. Lots of room in front and back seats. I am 6'5" and plenty of headroom and easy to get into.

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Fit?
Add a drivers right arm rest on seat, and fender wells ice up in northern climate .

Great car. Reasonable price. The only thing you cant do is haul a trailer. I own 3 of them

Sweet manual shifter, very nice interior, frugal, flip / fold back seats, reliabe, FUN to drive.

More color choices, less jiggly ride, more power, better stereo.

2008 Honda Fit Review:
Stay away from the automatic and the Fit is eager to please. Handling is big fun and as long as you exercise restraint, fuel economy is great. Interior is very nice with great guages and instrument lighting. The only letdowns have been an underachieving stereo, horrible windshield wipers (cured with new-for-2008 wiper blades), and a dash creak. Overall, it's hard to beat.
