The gas mileage is great. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid? Not normal tread ware on the tires. Honda has a known rear suspension issue where the tread on the tires go much sooner then normal cars. Make a better suspension system with better tires. People buy these cars for three reasons. They are going to drive a lot and will need good tires, they want to help the environment, and get better gas mileage. Tires would be a logical thing to improve on. Improve on the insulation of the car to reduce outside noise. 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid Review: Overall it's an OK car, but if you have to replace tires 3 times as often then it makes no difference from a cost perspective to get a car that gets better gas mileage. You save money at the pump, but it ends up going into new tires. :( If this persists I will not buy another Honda again. Huge improvement in fuel economy over my 2003 Mustang! The auto stop engine feature is a great idea, but hate the "lurch" you get when it goes into or out of that mode. I've only had the car a year, and was informed by the dealer that the tires have to be rotated every 3,000 miles. NEVER heard of that before, but it must be because they are cheap tires.
