Top 5 Pros of 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid
Top 5 Cons of 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Great interior and sound system...
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Batt, IMA module, and window regulator's are not reliable...had them replaced prior to 40K. The window regulator twice (passenger front and passenger back).
2008 Honda Civic Hybrid Review:
This was my first Honda. I normally buy Toyota - will never make that decision again.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Absolutely a dream to drive most of the time.
Very comfortable - well thought out interior and exterior design.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
I am very let down by the mileage I'm getting from my vehicle, through-out my time with it the mileage has continued to drop. When it was new it got ~36.5mpg, and now at 83k miles, it's down to ~32.5mpg. Even before my car crossed into the 80k mile mark the efficiency was despicable to the point that on several occasions I took it to the dealer only to be told nothing was wrong with it.
During the summer in high heat the batteries are worthless to the point that it takes an extremely long time to get up to speed, having no support from the electric motor.
At this point, although I love the design and it seems that the car is in overall good shape (it's still running), I'm not getting the green warm n' fuzzies.
2008 Honda Civic Hybrid Review:
If you want to be truly eco-conscious, go with a different vehicle.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Nothing, after I have had the problems described below. I do not even want to drive the car. Will sell ASAP!
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Make American Honda step up to the plate and replace defective batteries in the affected 2006-2008 Civic Hybrids before someone gets killed. We paid for a hybrid and put our faith in the Honda name when we bought this car and now we have been miserably let down.
2008 Honda Civic Hybrid Review:
Has never gotten mileage advertised. Two months after purchasing battery failed and I almost had wrecks in 2 different incidents because of no acceleration power. Contacted dealer and was told to bring in for "battery software update". I am now getting less acceleration than before software update and less miles per gallon than a non-hybrid car. I am so disgusted with Honda corporation. They have received thousand of complaints from customers regarding this issue and choose to make profit their top priority. Instead of replacing these faulty batteries under warranty, they patched them, prolonging the life of the battery but reducing our gas mileage. SHAME ON HONDA!!!!!!!!

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Nothing.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Poor design of seats, not comfortable and will hurt your back.
Can't see speedometer while driving.
Can't see edge of road or curbing.
To low to get out of.
Have owned a lot of Hondas and this is the worst one.
Mileage is not up to what is advertised and company would not stand behind it. Even after testing!

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
The gas mileage is great.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Not normal tread ware on the tires. Honda has a known rear suspension issue where the tread on the tires go much sooner then normal cars. Make a better suspension system with better tires. People buy these cars for three reasons. They are going to drive a lot and will need good tires, they want to help the environment, and get better gas mileage. Tires would be a logical thing to improve on.
Improve on the insulation of the car to reduce outside noise.
2008 Honda Civic Hybrid Review:
Overall it's an OK car, but if you have to replace tires 3 times as often then it makes no difference from a cost perspective to get a car that gets better gas mileage. You save money at the pump, but it ends up going into new tires. :( If this persists I will not buy another Honda again.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
I own a 2007, but I like Gas Milage
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
To much external noise in cabin while driving - quite with some insolation.
2008 Honda Civic Hybrid Review:
Very comfortable to drive.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Huge improvement in fuel economy over my 2003 Mustang! The auto stop engine feature is a great idea, but hate the "lurch" you get when it goes into or out of that mode.
Good roomy interior, well designed and comfortable.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid?
Needs better tires. I've only had the car a year, and was informed by the dealer that the tires have to be rotated every 3,000 miles. NEVER heard of that before, but it must be because they are cheap tires. So, I now have damaged rear tires that have to be replaced. I believe the general rule is 6,000 miles.
2008 Honda Civic Hybrid Review:
Overall a great car.
