My first diesel P/U. Just came off a 7500 mile Airstream trailer caravan. My basis of comparison was a good one with all kinds of diesel rigs. I am very well informed on the mechanical details. The 6.0 liter power stroke gets about 30% better mileage. I am sorry that I bought it. With less than 1,000 miles on it I was on our third radiator, and the front timing case oil seal leaked from the start. No engineering feedback from Ford motor customer relations. The dealer has no answers. |

The Styling is the essence of what a truck should be. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford F-250/F-350?
Not to offer the 5.4L but bring something stronger like a 6.1L.The size is just to much for the smaller engine and feels unimpressive to the point of being weak. Weak is not what one want to bring to mind when looking at this BEAST. 2008 Ford F-250/F-350 Review:
The truck is what I would think a truck should be. It's ride is a good balance between soft and firm It is civil yet not wanting to be a car or SUV. Still under rougher roads it does show it's true self as a big bruiser. The interior very appealing to me and has very good qualities which I like and can only be apperciated when sitting in it. |
