Design and layout and looks. Tight and sharp. ANd definatley not the pitiful seat support. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford F-250/F-350?
New seat design is horrendously uncomfortable. They are poorly supportive, get you a good chiropractor you will need one. These seats are the enemy to comfortable!!! MPG'S are scary with our economy. This is why they wont get bailout money from congress. It would be throwing good money after bad. 9 -12.5 absolute best i have gotten so far. 2008 Ford F-250/F-350 Review:
These seats leave ford design team with much to rethink. What were they thinking putting this low support seat type in a long term 200K type vehicle. I know, parts sales! They will absolutely hurt your lower back. It takes about a week to figure out why your back is killing you, then it will dawn on you its your Ford. |

I bought my F-350 new and now have 17,000 miles on it. I get 12 mpg average at 65-70 mph. In pulling my 38 ft 5th wheel travel trailer it really struggles with a lot of noise, vibration and rough riding. Over one stretch of I-40 near Oklahoma City it was so rough I couldn't keep my foot on the accelerator. I had to slow to 35-40 mph to be able to control it. Incidentally, I used to drive 18 wheelers from coast to coast so I do know something about towing trailers. Ford has done a remarkable job of marketing a pile of crap. I wish I had back the Chevy I traded for it. That was a sweet truck. |

It's fuel economy, My old 2007 was significantly better then the 2008. On a F250 two drive I am averaging about13 m/gal. That is empty or towing. 2008 Ford F-250/F-350 Review:
It has a few nicer features then the 2007 F250 but with higher cost on Diesel it is not as good! |

This truck is outragous power and handling is fantastic but the fuel economy of diesels past is not there with the 6.4 I am getting on good days 11.2 mpg. Ford needs to do something about that especially with the price of fuel going up.I know its a big truck but a relative has year older model and gets 19.o to the gallon. |

The power is great, the step in the gate is wonderful and gets used all the time. The layout of the interier is the best the f-seriers has been in years compaired to its compeditors. The out side body is edgy and bold. The front grill looks like it wants to eat whatever is in front of it and gets in the way. The auto fold mirrors are awsome and also get used on a daily basis. The message center is to vage compaired to the compitions. The truck goes through the regeneration cycle too often, and you have no idea through the M.C. 2008 Ford F-250/F-350 Review:
Comepaired to the competion, this truck is the best for the buck. All the added towing aids really help to get around with small to really big and heavy loads. The engine is a lot better than the 6.0 of the last model, and has all the power that you need, when you want it and need it the most. The leg room in front and in the back is still better than dodge or chevy(yes I did check them out- even the mega cab). |

I love the way it does everything put pass a fuel station and climb a hill loaded- But as far as a well built , comfortable,good driving truck its the best I have ever owned. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford F-250/F-350?
Make the regeneration process turn off at highway speeds 100% , when it lets a small amount of smoke out the truck drops power down , which is when I need the extra power to climb the HILL!!! This is the only complaint I have about my truck- I can even handle the 7 mpg if it would scream up a freakin incline with 18K on board!! 2008 Ford F-250/F-350 Review:
Yes I do have a 2008 F-350 XLT Lariet wich I have had since 02-07. It now is showing 68,022 miles or her and it has never, never really performed right from the get go. But I am stuck with it for now.Me and my 7 MPG bogging down wonderful truck- I am going to do my best to get this DPF out of my way and then we will see how it goes from there. So my review is if you need one to work with daily buy and older 7.3 or a cummins- But for just a toy it will scream with just no trailer/load on it. But good luck , if you buy I hope your luck is better than mine.Honestly my 02 dodge that I traded in with 269,000 miles did not drive as well , or as comfortable ,but it was paid for and got 13.5 mpg on a bad day and was able to set cruise at 72 MPH without ever dropping a gear. I can not say any of those things about the new Truck of trucks! |
