Brakes need to be better.
I am having steering problems. All the fluids and tire pressers are correct. It is hard to steer at low speeds. |

Great performance.
Lots of room. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Silverado?
Poor gas mileage: 15MPG always.
Cheap interior.
Do not like the controls.
Put a couple more bucks in the interior so it's not like cheap thin plastic.
Advertised mileage is 20 highway. I never got above 16 on highway with no load running 70 all interstate. |

Smooth ride.
Tows great.
Love the 4wd.
Controls on the steering wheel for radio and cruise are awesome.
5 cup holders in front compartment alone, 2 in the back.
Lots of storage in the console. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Silverado?
Door handle placement needs serious readjustment, can be hard to get to.
Rear seat in extended cab could use more room.
5.8l engine sounds great but doesn't have as much "get up and go" as I would have expected. 2008 Chevrolet Silverado Review:

This truck is the first Chevy i ever bought new and i am impressed(lots of room inside,excellent air conditioning system, nice sounding truck with 5.3, V8 with 4cylinder cut out is flawless.I have driven Mopar most of my life, but this 08 Silverado 4x4 ROCKS Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Silverado?
The rear wheel wells need sealer in the seams(there are small gaps that fill with road grime). This could be a big problem down the road. This truck needs mud flaps, maybe flares also, with 20 inch wheels and tires(always kicking up road grime on the sides).When going threw a car wash the rear tail gate upper guard prevents the gate to be washed proper(its to big). The side mirrors allow water to sit between the mirror and door.(This is always leaving water streaks down the doors after truck is dry) 2008 Chevrolet Silverado Review:
This tuck is very good overall. Fuel mileage is 17.3 mpg with mixed driving. I would get mud flaps as i am always seeing road grime on the sides(driven on paved roads).The All Star package has 20 inch wheels and are very sharp looking. I have priced the 20 inch tires and they are very close in price to the 17 inch ones. This is a nice truck with very minor problems |

envoy and having more power/able to switch 2wd to awd then having to run in 4wd we not need..the stabiltrac..i could go on.. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Silverado?
