IT IS A VERY ROOMY CAR, WITH GREAT SOUND SYSTEM. IT LOOKS GREAT IN THE OUTSIDE AND ALSO ON THE INSIDE. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?
I DON'T LIKE THE PULL OUT CUP HOLDERS. BUT BESIDES THAT EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT. I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH MY EQUINOX. 2008 Chevrolet Equinox Review:

Very roomy interior. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?
The paint between the front and rear door along the top of the vehicle keeps wearing off. I've had it in to be painted 8 times and we've only had it 4 months and it has 4300 miles on it. On cold start ups the engine makes a loud and odd "metal on metal" sound. |

There are 2 very large blind spots for the driver Front right and left of the car where the side mirrors are. Possible to do curb climbing without knowing you were close until you hit it.
Window controls in the middle of the car instead of on the door is annoying, I suppose one can get used to it.
The back window is pretty small when looking through the rear view mirror.
The back seat drivers get no easy access to A/C very much like a small economy car. |

The size for me is great. I love the extras that come with it. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?
I hate the cup holders. I have a click when the vehicle gets to 10 mph that I'm being told is the ABS brakes - and is normal. My radio doesn't increase enough with the road noise - I still have to turn it up but I'm being told it is working properly. I have trouble backing out due to not being able to see over my headrest and having to try and look around it. If I had to do it over again, knowing what I know now, I would probably not purchase this vehicle. |

I enjoy the ride, room of the vehicle overall is great, design slick and the chrome side bars was a great addition to my Equinox. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?
The cup holders could be much better for they are in a bad area, turn radius needs to be shorter but I can still do a quickie and continue to improve the gas mileage. I am currently getting 25 mpg average which is great but don’t stop try to make it to 30 mPG LOL 2008 Chevrolet Equinox Review:

This car dies every time it gets cold. I have had 3 new batteries in less than a year. It has died this winter now 4 times, in less than 2 months. It is completely unreliable! 2008 Chevrolet Equinox Review:

I love my equinox, although I have had some issues with the transmission locking up, and the sway bars being loose. It is a 2005, so it was the first year it was manufactured. |

I bought the LS FWD model about 6 weeks ago for $21k after rebate. Traded in a 2006 Toyota Matrix. Far better vehicle, Toyota you have to pay and pay to get what is standard on this Equinox plus it has OnStar. Last Toyota for me. |

Make engine more powerful shorten turning radius and improve seats more cushioniong and make seat bottoms longer for taller drivers. |

Design better storage accessible to the driver. Whoever designed the console should be fired immediately if not sooner. This is a total waste! Not in keeping at all with the rest of the vehicle. DON'T THEY UNDERSTAND WE NEED SOMEWHERE TO KEEP OUR "STUFF"? Drink holders are dinky and probably won't last a year and it's difficult to use them anyway. Try driving down the road and putting your drink back into one of those pull-out holders. Terribly messy! 2008 Chevrolet Equinox Review:
I like the height of the Equinox and that I don't drag when gutters are added to street exits. It is comfortable but there is a bad blind spot so you have to be especially careful when backing or passing on the highway. I'd think twice before buying again. |

Largere tires would afford a smoother ride. The Equinox uses todays stand tires which are smaller and let you feel the road. 2008 Chevrolet Equinox Review:
Very nice overall. I am 6'4" tall and fit the SUV just fine. I love the auto start feature on the key/ allows me to have the car all warmed up or cooled down by the time I get in. The sunroof is a nice feature. I hit my head on the trailblazer sunroof but fit this just fine. |
