Very smooth driving. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Colorado?
I would def. like Chevy to improve on the gas mileage. It is horrible with this truck once you put anything in the bed such as a dirt bike or gear or wood or anything you might as well be driving a V8. But without the V8 power. Also the brakes squeal every time I come to a stop, you'd think Chevy could fix that, too, right? 2008 Chevrolet Colorado Review:
I'm not too impressed with this truck, it gets just as good of mileage as an F-150 or the Chevy 1500. This truck is just a car with a bed on it. |

Different type of brakes.
The sound level in the cab is not good. Any small rock that hits underneath make a noise inside the cab. None of our other small trucks have had that problem. 2008 Chevrolet Colorado Review:
I would not buy another Chevy truck. This one has been in the shop numerous times for several different reasons. The most trips to the shop has been the squealing of the back brakes. I did not buy a new vehicle for it to make squealing sounds every time a person stops the truck. The service dept said this is normal. I don't buy that and will get rid of this truck as soon as possible. |

I have the extended cab work version. There's more room than you would think.
I like how it handles, seems to hug the road nicely and I'm getting between 19-21mpg in town on short stop an go trips. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Colorado?

Price. All the flashy crap that you get on an import is irrelevant to me and not worth the extra $$$ that you have to shell out. Cons: How would you improve 2008 Chevrolet Colorado?

I love my truck. It runs great and gets decent mileage for a 4wd. I can comfortably fit my family of 4 in there. I chose the 2.9 liter engine because I have no desire to tow anything and have no complaints about the power. Great truck at a great price. I got my 2008 Colorado LS 4wd, automatic, extended cab brand new for 21,000. Can you get a Toyota or Nissan with the same options for that $$$? |
