Handling and power of 535 engine. Cons: How would you improve 2008 BMW 5-Series?
The engine has a habit of running very rough upon a warm start. It is as if the engine is running on 3 cylinders rather than 6. The dealer can't to fix. So for a $50+ car this is a huge disappointment. If this cannot be corrected soon I do not see a 535 BMW or for that matter any BMW in my future. 2008 BMW 5-Series Review:
Overall not worthy of its heritage and price. |

Solid car, drives better than Lexus GS, quality interior materials. Cons: How would you improve 2008 BMW 5-Series?
Electronics have been a issue, with several of the issues being "known" but not discussed prior to purchase. Some issue large some small. Service team doesnt seem to interested in fixing "smaller" issues (car switiching to KM instead of Miles regularly type of stuff...) 2008 BMW 5-Series Review:
If you want a car for the driving performance this one will make you happy, but be prepared to have some "issues" with the electronics and even engine. Have the manager, owner, service manager put in writing the known issues and see if you are willing to deal with them for a $50k + car. |

More rear seat leg room because I drive with the seat all the way back and rear seat passengers behind me need to be under 6 years old to fit. |
