What do you like about 2007 Saturn AURA? Style, dashboard layout/materials, quiet Interior and standard features - it doesn't look like a Saturn! Price is competitive!
How would you improve 2007 Saturn AURA? Improve driver visibility - too many blind spots due to shape of front & rear windshield
2007 Saturn AURA Review: My wife owned a late 90's small 4dr Saturn, and I hated that car. Noisy, paper-thin doors and cheap hard plastics surrounding a hoarse underpowered engine. My 2007 Aura XE could not be any more different than that car. I can't say enough about my overall satisfaction with this model. It is whisper quiet inside with plenty of power, features, and style to feel comfortable driving, and being seen driving by others. A two-fer! From the soft-touch dashboard, my eyes are drawn, daily, to the beautifully lit speedo & tach, with small touches like the gauge needles that light up to do a wicked cool white-on-black sweep when you turn the key! Completely unnecessary but yet passion-inspiring. The new GM stereo head unit is the best I've seen, with a quality look and good sound. And an iPod jack that works flawlessly. I have my iPod charger plugged into the conveniently placed power-plug and I couldn't be happier! Another awesome feature of this car is the subtle ambient lighting that gives an "aura," if you will, of luxury. The door handles cast a beautiful amber glow onto the soft curves of the interior. Furthermore, the steering wheel audio/cruise/info display controls are a pleasure to use! They are small in size and are NOT designed for the Buick/Impala crowd... My only criticisms are in regards to visibility and fuel economy. The front and rear windshields look great from the outside, but do not offer a wide vertical angle. I've been averaging about 19-21 MPG with the 3.5, and I have a 20 mile commute at highway speeds. Not impressive at all, but you have to pay for the confident passing torque you have available, I guess... Having an XE is great, but the XR just improves with a sophisticated engine/tranny that I'm sure are excellent. For the value, I couldn't pass up the XE. A large midsize sedan with few, if any, reminders of that late 90's nightmare. Test drive an Aura, you won't be disappointed!
