What do you like about 2007 Saturn AURA? I plan on purchasing a blue Aura for my Wife with the 3.5 liter and keeping it as basic as possible. It's a good value at just a little over $20k. I've test drove one already and it's incredibly quiet. Takes bumpy roads and freeways very well. Handling seems to be top notch and I like how it's very closely styled similarly to the Opel version. Well, with the exception to the brake lights looking like a G6. I'm looking forward to owning this vehicle. It comes with many standard features that make other vehicles more costly. My similarly equipped Mazda 6s (no not trading this) had a sticker price of nearly $25k. Oh, finally GM makes a hub cap that looks like a wheel. They made the steel 17" wheel into a spoke wheel. So the 5 spoked hub cap covers it up and looks like an alum. wheel.
How would you improve 2007 Saturn AURA? The base engine would be better off with the 6speed auto, which may improve fuel mileage and possibly smoothness. Rear brake lights look too much like a G6. The cover over the center console cup holders broke when I was trying to open it. Seems a little flimsy.
2007 Saturn AURA Review: I enjoyed driving this vehicle. It is more quiet than my Mazda 6 and feels more comfortable especially going over the many patches of asphalt that plagues I295 around Richmond VA. The base engine, granted is the same pushrod as the old 2.8,3.1 and 3.4 gm engines, produces a nice amount of power. It seemed to run much more smooth and quiet as compared to the previous engines listed above. Stereo sounds terrific and looks good and easy to reach in the center console. I like the coloring scheme that Saturn used for the dash lighting. There are many vehicles out now that use red and Saturn's yellow feels a bit upscale as compared to the red other vehicles use. I'm 6'2" and fit comfortably in this car. Drove it for about an hour and no back pains.
